does anyone think that a huge zero spin with a stefan thomas style true tail could win a big air comp cause i think that would be so sick

no thats not what people want now. judges want to see dub flips and big spins and nobody can change that

i know the judges suck cause they just wanna see the skiers huck huge spins when it shouldnt be spin to win, or flip to it should be more style and tech

why not a smooth switch 7 9 or 10 with a stephan thomas tail grab to back it up. then youl win.

Zeros are eeeeeeeeasy, and just as easy to make big... seriously... even I can do them and I blow at switch takeoffs in general. Just take off straight, grab some ski, and watch between your skis for the ground to come up to you, brace yourself for impact. Done!
But no, they probably wouldn't win a big air nowadays simply because the degree of difficulty simply isn't there.

its ture ^, a zero spin has little to no difficulty (even with super steeze) compared to a grabbed dubble flip.

also, zero spins are way too subjective. then all people would argue about is whos style is better. its just not plausable

I hate when people say that judges suck cause they wouldn't make a zero win. These people are professionals, they go to these events to do the most tech/best trick they can offer. If I went to a big air, I would love to see some doubles go down. Thats why they are pros.
