Just for the record, I have never been to Alaska. However, that didn't stop me from noticing Landis Tanaka, a 15 year old from Anchorage, Alaska. On top of being one of the raddest shreds from AK and Surface's newest member of the collaboration, Landis is also a part time filmer for Poor Boyz, which speaks volumes considering his age. Landis prefers to ski outside of the park, taking his tricks to the pow. To be honest with you, it's a bit refreshing to hear of a 15 year old that really skis.

Landis prefers to be called Slandis and he is going to California for 10 days.

With that being said, Slandis, have a great time in California, welcome to the camp.

Aaah thanks for your support guys! I jut got into Cali a couple hous ago, its 10:26 and Im just checking my messages before I hit the way. Marine World tomarrow! yaaay!


And Im actually 16, although I can understand the misconception. My sponsor vid said I was 15 because I was 15 when it was filmed and made, and I turned 16 just recently.

i'm afraid you were mislead by my connotation dear friend.

i'm simply suggesting that the young lad takes a gander at the passage sir mike has eloquently put forth on our beloved weblog page... www.thesurfacelab.blogspot.com

it makes no mention about such a surface "team". he does reference some sort of welcoming to a surface "collaboration" or "camp" of sorts.
