183 fur shur..i am 5'11 and 150 and i am contemplating 179 or 183...5 centimeters is hardly anything to tell you the truth

consideirng your height 183 would be ideal but with your weight if you aren't going to center mount go with a 177.

but always go longer because its better. always

177, everyone says longer is better but its really just personal preference, i find longer skis more fun all mtn, but shorter skis more playful, like a snowboard

177. I've tried them both and im almost the exact same size as you and i think the 177 is more fun.

it's all personal opinion. Longer will give you little more stabillity and control, shorter will spin a little easier and be little more forgiving if you set your spins too early
