Good set up?

alright so im getting the 08 165 TMs in the fall sometime, and im pretty sure im gonna get the look px 12 jib trouble bindings. they like match the skis. im 5'8" 172 cm 135 lbs.

you guys think that would be a good setup?

see thats the thing. i think i wanna stick with the 165s, i like a little shorter skis that i can whip around. i skied on my cousins 165 phils i forget which one of them. and i really liked that size in the park and stuff. but if i grow another inch or two before i get the skis ill probably step it up to the 175s....

go for the 175s, because in ski boots you are bigger/heavier, since they are twins you have to incorporate the tail into the ski so  165 would ski like a 161 or so, and you will mount them more foward than a traditional ski so you will want more tip

i just hope i grow another inch or two so my decision will be definite....i dont know what to do, 175 seems to be the way to go, but i liked the 165 when i skied it...damn it i dunno what to do..

do you usually keep the skis more than a year? because if you are thinking of skiing them for the next 2 years then you should think about going with the 175's.

you could probably get away with the 165's for a year but like you said if you end up growing the next size up is the way to go

thats the thing i like these skis a bunch. if they hold up, ill keep em for 2 years. i just wanna grow so my decision is a given haha.

listen to everyone. i was the exact same size as you last winter with the exact setup. just the 06/07 versions. i'm mad at myself for not getting 175's. but if i were you i'd get the 07 stuff. it looks better and i'm pretty sure nothing changed for this year
