im guessing you just mean like the padded shorts, i have protec ones and they have prevented me from getting aton of bruises on my hips and thighs. any that fit well will prolly be good. unless i am thinking of the completly wrong thing

I have never used them, mostly because I dont ski dry-slope. Also, Im wayyyy to tough to need them.
