ok so i had 174 rossis last year and im thinking about jumping up to 180. i liked the size of my skis last year.... will that change feel really wierd........ im used to shorter skis.... im 5'11

well i have 169s and i am going to switch to something like 179 or 183 or something..really not a bad idea if you ask me..you will get used to it..and 5 cms is NOTHIGN!

IM 5'11" I SKI 181'S FROM A 174 A FEW YEARS AGO.
ITS NOT SO DIFFERENT.
U GET USED TO IT IN 1 RUN.
IF YOU CANT , MAYBE START SNOWBOARDING.

as long as the ski is not really longer or shorter than you, you will not notice it. (Like if ou were changing from 174 to 180, but that the 174 skis were already longer than you)

Yea, you'll be back to normal within a day or two. You'll be fine. I went from 150 to 165. THAT was weird, but only for a day. That was also when I first turned to park (a couple year's ago), going from a skinny 66 to 78. Funny feeling, but you got used to it.

I went soft 169 to stiff 181 without a problem. not a hard thing to get used to.

5 is nothing, i changed from 178 to 188 this year (warrantied and got bigger size) and it was hardly different.

you wont feel much, i went from 130 to 159, felt a tiny bit biggeer and im gonig from 159 to 171 now

im 5 9, I too was skiing 174 rossi scrathes. I decided to step up to the 181 scratch and it was the best decision I ever made.

you'll be fine...i feel that the real difference you notice in skis is where they are mounted..true center, forwarad, back a little...

180's will be perfect for you ...true center.

I actually fell over after i got my 181's that were true center ..i used to ride back, it was funny haha .
