NS: Does you computer sometimes has issues loading "My Threads"??

Everytime I try to load "My Threads", where it be on my computer, either one of my roommates computers, or the GF's computer, the page gets really slow and the computer has a really hard time loading the page.
It happens everytime. Sometime my Firefox will freeze for a minute and than come back.
Just curious if anyone else has this problem and if there is possibly a way it can be fixed?

It's because they're so many damn threads under it: it takes forever to load them all. The only way to fix it is to clear them all... there's a button somewhere. Just let it load for like five minutes, don't touch anything or else it will say it's not responding, then press clear and wait for another five. Worked for me. But yeah, it's laggy as hell because every post you've ever made is kept underneath there.

Ok, just looked into it again, and it should only take like a minute or less to load all your shit. The "Delete All Thread Watches" button is at the bottom of the page. I'm thinking: if you really want to make use of that page, you'd really have to work at maintaining it and deleting the crap posts you don't want to track...

Some mods have discussed having an option where instead of having a My Thread, you can subscribe to certain threads and only those come up.
I sometimes like My Threads because it reminds me of threads I have posted in but forgot about.
I usually go thru mine every once in awhile and clean it out, but it fills back up so fast it really doesnt matter

True. I do like the idea of that optional subscription. That way you wouldn't have to deal with the threads of a funny video clip or something, where all you posted was "Haha, nice find.." but you could actually keep track of intellectual discussion threads where you have presented your opinion and want to see other peoples reactions... and as you put it yes.. without forgetting about it and losing it to page 2 or something.

WEll you only have a little amount of posts not allowing you to have that many threads...
I like the idea of subscribing to threads i suppose..but tehre are some that you dont know will get big (FAUNT) that you may want to keep track of..i think an individual delete would be good !

Isn't that what's there already?
But like Iggy says, you waste time going through and deleting them because it just fills back up.

yeah mine takes a good while to load. i delete them but it just fills right back up, that is a good idea though where you could "subscribe" to a thread. it would also save the pointless posts that say "just saving in my threads"...

mine didnt load for over 2 years. the built for 2 years, and i would try all the time and my comp would crash. i bought a macboook for school. as soon as i went on NS, loaded my threads, they all appeared no problem. hit delete all a the bottom and shes runnin fine ever since.
