I am going to Chile and debating staying out of the resort trap. does anyone have experience in this area? I am not interested about hearing how shitty the park or pipe is, im going to alpine slide down big hills. A major question I have is if you can get to resorts like Valle Nevado easily by car in early September from Santiago (day trips fr City), for example.
Any suggestions or help is great. I will send flowers later.
