I'm thinking about getting a pair of 05-06 MSP's, but I really don't know much about them. Can someone who has or had a pair give me the rundown on them por favor?
...........what's the flex like? How is it for jibbing? Can it link some turns on the groomers? Any problems with it? How different is it from a Public Enemy?
the msps hasn't changed much. stiff, burly awesome pow ski that rips, but can still make nimble groomer turns. light, bomber, has an impressive shovel. sick ski. 4frnt makes good shit, buy it.
yo dude. my brother had the MSP's and they snapped twice. they warranteed the first break when they were all about their sick warrantee program, but the second time they snapped they didnt do shit really. I skied them in a 180 and they were tanks, it's a burly ski for sure. it felt kinda dead to me. Do you want to use them as a pow ski or a jib ski..or kinda both?
Shiiiiit. I was thinking for mainly park, because I have the Seth's for pow and what not. The reason I was thinking about them is because I'm used to, and like, a pretty beastly ski for park. I was riding my PE's for park but they got too small, so I was using my Seth's in the park. I decided to sell my PE's and pick up another pair of skis for park, and that's when I stumbled upon the MSP's.
I've been thinking about it more and more, and I think I might try out something softer, considering I never have.
yea the msp's are tanks in the park. you might like the anthems or bacon's or something wide and soft like that. or just use the msp's for pow and make the seths your park ski?
i'm obsessed with msps. i snapped mine last year so i'm going to have to buy a new pair for next season. i use them for mostly park and all mountain. i had 180's but i'm thinking about stepping up to the 187's. hands down my favorite ski for straight fuckin' charging everything. they're tanks. you could ski straight through the lodge if you rolled up with enough heat. they're bad. if you are ready to charge and want a ski that can hang, get a set. if you're timid or small, look elsewhere.
