MIDI MPC Choices/Questions

Okay so I've been making some musaac just using ACID Pro and that means i just put all the drum hits and stuff onone by one on there. This makes it sound kinda too computereized so i want to get an MPC and record stuff bass and shit using that. So first of all, what would be a good choice for one? I don't want anything fancy, just something i can easily play the sample and record the drums on and get sounds on the pads from the computron.
Also, can u use one of theses bad boys on ACID or would i have to like get fruity loops and import the chopped up sample onto there then do everything. I really have no clue about how everything works, i just try figuring stuff out on my own.
So thanky in advance!!!!

By the sounds of what you are looking to do, I would pick up a MPD 24. The MPC is a full out sampler, sequencer, and drum machine but by the sounds of what you are trying to do, all you want to do is be able to trigger sounds from Acid. The MPD 24 is a Midi Controller with the MPC's pads. With that you should be able to assign samples to each of the pads and bang out a drum patter with the controller.

Acid is more of a multitrack recording program... go with reason 3 for full compatibility.
All times are Eastern (-5)
