yah you're SOL if it's that big.....little ones can sometimes be stopped by burning the edges so they melt and seal but you're gonna have to get a new mat. I jumped on my old tramp for a while with a rip that big and sometimes your feet get caught in it....then once three of use were jumping and the whole thing just gave way and we all crashed through onto the ground.....that was the end of my trampolining days to say the least
