when you get new skis(i havnt in a while and cant relate to anything becuz i started park with my pair right now) does it change your style/ trick capabilities in the park and all mtn? like, will it be harder for me to cope with doing tricks on new sticks? right now, i have 04-05 public enemies and am looking into 06-07 volkl karmas or line chronic blends. how does the pe relate/compare to the karmas and blends, as in all aspects even edges on rails. and are there any other skis i should look into?(70% park 30%all mountain) thanks a bunch

PEs and karmas are pretty much the same ski. both pretty stiff and almost the same dimensions. you could also look into an arv

I went from urban triplets (stiff and light) to TNK's with 916's (soft and heavy) after 2 days of skiing I was back to normal. It wont change your style.

i went from PE's to AR6's. took almost no time (less than a day) to get used to them. the only thing i had a little trouble with was skiing switch without catching an edge but that was fixed in a few runs at most

i got brand new thrusters right after the season and skied them for the first time at windells. it was kindda weird cause theyre a lot different than foils.

well any ski you get will be more poppy than PEs, which are extremely damp, though i can only see that helping you.

like everyone said it will just take a little while to get used to it. maybe a day, maybe one run. usually when i buy new skis my skiing improves. too bad i can't buy new skis every year.

just make sure you get a jib tune. personally I love new skis, especially if you go from like soft to stiff flex. I don't think I ever had to "get used to" a pair of skis, you just discover more or different things that you can do with them.

your fine dude. i went from riding stiff ass scratch bc's to super softy lizzies, and it took me about a run or two the first time to adjust. just jib around and get used to the flex and carve around to get used to how they just ride. honestly not a big deal
