uh, kingvale, as in no chairlift, no snowmaking...
..doubt it.
It's sick though if you are a pro snowboarder cause then you get to have a keg on the hill, have a bbq, and shred a dope custom setup with no one around..and there's probably a gaint fire involved somehow..fire is cool. I'll give them that much, pretty much a dream come true for some people lucky enough.

it's gonna be all about BOREAL for sure. alpine never really changes their decent park, but b real is continually improving their park every year. last year they were good, next year, could be.....great? Northstar will have some cool new features but will be packed on weekends, but money on weekday mornings.

we've got alot of new stuff on tap for this season...lots of real tangible improvements to make the parks better.
only a few new jibs as we are putting a ton of money into the new lighting and snowmaking systems for the night park..plus we bought a new park snowcat.
WE just got the engineering plans back this week for the night lights. The lower park had only 11 lights last year. We are bringing that up to 26 lights and adding hookups for our new snowmaking fan guns in that park. There is still a bit of hope for a sound system but we went over budget on the engineering plans so I'm not sure if we are going to get the full system in this year. We are also going to widen the lower nightpark to give us more room to build more creative features as well as make more snow without piling it up on something that is already built and ridable. Rail alley is going to be widened significantly to the point where we hope to be able to run two features wide the whole way down..gonna be sick with TWO lines in that zone. The run though the woods with the BMX line is going to be thinned/widened also as well as the runout after the step-up jump. After the step-up and the exit of the BMX line..if we widen on the right side after where the chair crosses the run we will be able to put in at least a triple(maybe even a quad) line of jibs that wrap around to where the skimack rail was. Both that line and the rail alley line would share that last feature with it being some type of multi option setup. Also with all the repairs/upgrades to the snowmaking system we hope to be able to make snow on 49er for the triple jump line this year if we need it. Last year that part of the system did not work unfortunately...but we were able to pull off the jump line none the less. The idea with all of this to make room for all of our jibs in the nightpark and on 49er so we are not depending on Lost Dutchman if don't get snow because there is no snowmaking out there...Plus we want Lost Dutchman to become more of a jump park anyways...something that fills the gap in jump size between the Kidz park and the nightpark. There will still be rails out there just not as many as the last two years. We also plan to build alot more all snow jib features out there like the 3 to 4 we had going through the woods from the top of 49er over to the Dutchman.
the following isn't set in stone yet but here is where we are right now with our build out plan for this winter.
Mini-Shred on Cedar:
3-5 ride-on jibs
1-3 micro jumps
Kidz X in front of the Lodge:
3-4 15ft jumps
3-5 ride-on/small gap-on jibs
NightPark:
30ft jump triple line
40ft jump double line
12-15 gap-on jibs
superditch
Core on 49er:
Big triple jump triple line(55ft stepdown,65ftstepdown, 60ft step-up)
one 10 jib line in the alley
one 6 jib line in the alley
one 4 jib line after the triple jump line
2 bmx lines
Shred on Dutchamn:
10 gap-on jibs
6 to 8 jump line in the 20/30ft range
5-10 all snow jibable features
