Worst jet lag you've ever had

for those of you whats the worst jet lag you've ever had?

im currently dealing with 12 hour jetlag and it sucks but i've heard 5 hours is the worst?

I've never experienced it I don't think. I have no idea why. Perhaps my mental clock overpowers it.

well not really, I mean, you know how if you want to wake up at, say, 6:30, you just think about it before going to bed and then you wake up at 6:30, you know what I mean?

But the problem is that with 12 hour jetlag is that night is day and vice versa, so just when i go to bed i start to wake up. Oh well in a couple days i'll be fine.

take caffiene 11 hours before the beginning of your fasting period...of course timing will not be precise due to caffiene's variable effect on the human body based on vital stats, but it should exert you back into your general sleep schedule.

never had it. but my friend just went to germany and had 6 hours. and said it was pretty bad

im starting to get over 3 hr jet lag...... its not bad at all. Its kind of fun actualy. ontario - BC

you just change time zones too quickly by plane and it takes some adjusting. say you live in california then fly to canada way east. thats probably 4 or 5 hour time difference. so when you normally wake up at 7 oclock at home. when you wake up at 7 in canadaland, you are waking up at 11 or 12 and it screws with your body.

by fasting period I mean sleep. to fast means to not eat for an extended period of time.

breakfast = breaking your fast.

NY to CA was weird i wanted to wake up at like 4 in the morning. then as soon as i got used to it went back to NY and i was up way later.

can't you not have more than 12 hours of jetlag because after 12 hours you would start to go backwards through the time zones so like 13 hours jetlag is really 11 hours?
