New J.J. Abrams Movie Trialer (Cloverfield)

Anyone seen this? This looks so fucked, I really hope it's good. It looks awesome, but I'm afraid they'll screw it up, you know? So far no info has been released on it, only this trailer, an extremely strange and vague official website, and the making name of "Cloverfield."

everything is under such super secrecy, it's going to gain so much hype. i think it looks so interesting, i really hope it will live up to all the talk. it's been a long time since there's been a good horror movie.

man i have been searching around and there is nothing on this movie. some attempted fake websites, but other than that nothing. all i've found is:

most of it will be shot with home video cameras like the trailer
the monster is being called 'The Parasite' as of right now
it will be a low budget movie, around $30M
cast includes no names like Michael Stahl-David (”The Black Donnellys”), Odet Jasmin, Mike Vogel (”Supercross”) and Lizzy Kaplan (”The Class”)

i was looking for stuff on it to...some people in forums were saying its gonna have something to do with the next lost series....but i didnt understand how...dosent seem like it will anyway haha

That looked fucking epic, I can't wait to see it.

And I can assure you that wasn't shot on a handycam. They can't blow those up to the size of a theatre screen; there isnt enough resolution. Plus doing crazy CG effects like that require a camera that can capture more information. They mostly likely shot a better cam but just used it loosely.


But godamn that was sick.

i think they ment no tripods/tracks/pulleys/etc. are going to be used
no doubt they will have a good qual. cam. its just a cheap effect to make it seem like "your actually there" almost like a first player shooter game...

 when you start reserching this movie it gets really interesting, there are a lot of little websites that have to do with it but none give any info about the film.  really weird but cant wait to see it

it's going to be a legit movie.
I saw an extended version of the trailer at the movie theater, and the preview alone was epic.
