JBT Cancelled Show.

I had tickets to go see John Butler Trio at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom here in NH, and they just announced that the show is canceled due to their appearing on The Tonight Show. FUCKING SHIT. I have such mixed emotions about it, but right now anger is winning. I'm glad they're getting the opportunity to get known more throughout the US, but don't do it at the cost of a show! And at least reschedule it for soon after, but now they're just having another show in November (the original date was July 31st). But this is a whole new show, so I need to buy all new tickets again. Sorry for the venting, but what the fuck? Honestly! And this is for LENO?? At least do it for Letterman! Leno blows. Fuck.

do you at least get a refund? I see that you say you have to get all new tickets, but usually, around Burlington at least, if something like this happens, you can bring your ticket to get exchanged. Hopefully that's the case.

i got them off ticketmaster, and i know that if it's the mail in tickets you can just send them back for a refund. but i got the email printout kind, and i'm not sure what to do in that case...

the concert was going to be JBT with State Radio, and SR is still doing it. should i just go and see them? i don't know them at all, does anyone listen to them?

they're energetic; a fun band - they put on a show besides the absurd amount of pre-teen girls that are guaranteed to be there.

it's Chad Urmston's (from Dispatch) band, if you didn't know that. They'll usually play a few dispatch songs I've heard, though I've only seen them once myself.
