Help with .raR to mp3

i have winrar so do i extract the rar file to another folder is that all i do?
does the folder matter?

winrar is like winzip. if you dont know what that is, it basically packages a bunch of files into one file. you have to unzip it.

to do that, open up the winrar file (you need the program to do it). click extract and it should extract everything into one folder. its easiest to put this oflder on the desktop. then just get into the folder, and the music should be there.

o and i am using albumbase but im trying to extract a cd but its asking for a pass. for the encrypted files? where could i get it has this happened to anyone else?

and i figured out my first posts question

go back to the albumbase page that linked you to the file. it will have teh pass right underneath the link.
