careful.... turning radius and radius cut are different. the side cut of the ski is the segment of the arc that forms the turning radius when you ski. In other words, an 18m side cut at 176cm will not necessarily turn a radius of 18m..
Not sure if I am making sense, but when my son was racing I was perplexed when I got two skis with the same dimensions that when layed flat, they did not match. I think some ski manufacturers use those dimensions as a marketing tool
But yeah, the higher the number the less "turny" it is..
