FS (most likely) Brand New 05/06 Elizabeths (and also SFB vs, EP Pro questions)

1st off, selling my Lizzies. Brand new, first year with the dragon/castle graphics, primarily light blue base. never skied, never mounted, make offers, just know i'm not in a huge hurry to sell. if nobody snags them i'll just wait til october or november and ebay them.
2nd. My setup for the last couple seasons has been 180 MSP's and lizzies (i sold my old pair before the end of last season since i couldn't ski). My msp's are pretty much beat, so i snagged a pair of 190 gotamas to use as my everyday ski. i bought this new pair of lizzies to replace the old pair, but i kinda realized now that going from 190 stiff(er) skis down to 172 noodles might be too much of a drastic change (i'm 6'2" 175 lbs). So i'm looking at Bacons or next years EP Pros as my fun/pow/tree ski. can't decide which one i want though.
Bacon pros: cheaper than EP's (especially for the green ones), stiffer than others (so i've heard) so they will be better all around (not that i really need them to be though).
Bacon cons: larger turn radius (i really like the lizzy's super tiny radius in the trees), stiffer than others (yes it's also a con because i already have a pair of stiffer skis and would like these to be softer i think)
EP Pro pros: Similar turn radius to lizzies, mad soft, probably float like none other.
EP Pro cons: price, and wondering if they will be as good in the trees as my lizzies are. also wondering if 127 underfoot is excessive.
please post suggestions or offers or send me a pm.
Cheers.

yo buddy.. I would agree with the bacons being tough in the trees... with a 19.something turn radius they just don't want to turn. Elizabeths are a totally different ski.
As for EP pros.. they'd be sick for pow.. but think, really? CO has such limited pow days and if there isn't frsh.. I think they'd be downright frightening on hardpack.

so you're saying that despite the similar turn radius the lizzy is still going to be better in the trees than the ep?
i'm trying to set myself up for the next 3 seasons or so as far as ski purchases go.

I'd definitely say lizzes are better in the trees than an EP.. course i've never skied them. Thats just an opinon.

i never say this, but.....
noob.
well looks like i'm keeping them, i was also considering some livelife2's, but $300 extra just for 7cm doesn't seem worth it.

you shouldn't need a really short turn radius for a fun tree ski- jps are some of he best in the trees and their radius is like 30 m i believe

i think the live life 2 would be a rather wise choice you get some more length and still a super tight turn radius plus they are zero camber so definately more managable on crud and hardpack but retardedly fun in pow!
the only complaint i ever had with my lizzies is they were just to soft for their lenght im 5 8 140 and i dove over the tips a lot!
i think the 179 live life 2 would be the perfect answer and definately worth the extra scrilla plus quality is there they will last you many many plentiful pow days!

so i mounted them up with some 912ti's at the center spot for a size 27 boot. i have no problem keeping them, but if someone wants to give me $500 for the whole setup i'd probably let them go. enough to buy a pair of livelife2's (or just reg livelife's possibly) without breaking my wallet, y'know?
and yes i know that price might be a little steep to some, but considering you can pretty much only find brand new 08's right now for full retail it's a pretty good deal, especially with brand new matching color 912s.
let me know.

gonna have to disagree with you on this one. my MSP's have about a 25m turn radius, and i can take tree lines on my lizzies that i wouldn't dream of trying with my 4frnts. i'm sure the light weight of the jp's makes them easy to throw around in trees, but the tiny lizzy sidecut is unreal for super quick multi-turn tree lines.
(and when i refer to tree-skiing i mean tree-pow-stash-hunting and not tracked-out-hardpack tree skiing just so you know)
