Warning: nothing dramatic happens, its just pretty cool
OK so 2 days ago me and two friends decided to go down to the mall because there is absolutely nothing to do in Mississauga, so we got there 10 minutes before the mall closes and its already pretty scarce, most stores are closed already and everyone is going home.
This was the Square One shopping center which is apparently the second biggest mall in Canada if I'm correct so its really huge. We catch a burger place before closing, and after about 30 minutes we dipped and we were like 'Let's just chill here until we get kicked out' so we find a place to sit and just talk about random shit. So by now its 10:00 PM which is 1 hour past the mall was supposed to close, all of the store employees have left by now and the only people in the mall is us, a few security guards, and construction crew renovating the mall itself.
We're moving from place to place trying to figure out where would be least bait if we were approached, so we could have an excuse that we were waiting to be picked up to leave. Another hour passes and still no trouble, at this point we concluded that there was only 1 security guard in the entire mall, and he was standing only in one place which was really weird. So were walking around again and we stop at a popcorn booth and hop over and grab slushies because the slushy machine was still on.
A little later we see a sunglass hut with cases of sunglasses sitting on the floor, but also there were sensors in the booth so we didn't want to trigger any alarms. When we finally wanted to leave the doors were locked and we thought we were toast, until we found one of those emergency exits and left. We finally left about 10 minutes past midnights.
Anyway, this story would be way bigger with pictures, cause its a huge mall and we were the only ones there and it was such a weird experience.
