Replying to What should I do with my 174 PE's
Alright...so I'm 6'1", 185lbs riding on 174 2007 PE's, mounted at +4. I ski almost 99% East coast in PA/NY, no powder. This season I'm going to move more toward 85% park riding and I'm not sure my current setup is the way to go.
All mountain, the skis have been fine for me, but my concern is that having a ski mounted back is going to make it difficult to begin on rails and spinning.
I'm currently looking at 183 STLs, 181 Scratch FS WRS, and 181 T-halls/AR6s. Should I just ditch the PEs or keep them for all mountain riding and buy an additional setup. I don't want to sell them and end up with a dedicated park setup that I can't take all mountain, but I'm not sure I can afford to have two setups.
The last option is to remount the PE's at +7.5 or just suck it up and learn spinning/rails as they are.
What would you do?
