heres the deal. im 17. yesterday me and my buddy went and got fake ids made. friday we leave with 14 other friends on a cottage trip for the week. today i went in to buy my liquor with my fake, and the lady questions it (out of provice) looks it up in the official book and says sorry i cant sell this to you. and gives me back my id. so im like ok thats fine i have my id ill try somewhere else. as soon as i go to walk out, BAM i get a solid look at the other cashier, and its my fucking neighbour (45 year old mom). FUCK FUCK FUCK. she watched the whole thing. FUCK. she gets off work i assume when the store closes at 9 and shes CLOSE with my parents. how the FUCK do get her not to tell them? she will. and ive gone through every scenario possible to make up a s tory when my parents confront me and i said to much shit at the liquor store to make something up. ive spent an hour thinking. so the question is what do i say to this lady, as soon as she gets home, to get her to keep what happened to her self. i know if my rents find out they wont let me go on this trip and that is a fucking shit hole grounding because this trip has been planned for months and months.

if they call you out admit your fault, admit you were dumb and be "i was so scared i threw away my id, i dont know why i even bought it i was so dumb" my mom has found 5 of my id's and she always find them doing laundry, but she never takes them, she just tells me not to be stupid, but for some reason i get in trouble when im caught drunk

Sometimes the best thing you can do is be completely straight up. Go talk to the lady, explain the situation. I think it probably your best bet since it sound like no lie could really get you out of this one...

oh that sucks. theres a gas station in my town who sells to everyone. me and my buddy go in there we got 2 thirty racks and 4 twelves and the cashier helps up with the door and other adults are just giving us the eye and were both 17

whats the big deal your parents when they were young probably had fake id's and probably drank under age its not that wrong btu if your parent are made tell the truth and suck it in what they wont send you to boot camp for fake id's

bro, your parents will understand. shit they might even start buying you beers when you go out with them. every kid gets and ID somehow. I gave my brother my ID right when i got it. my parents were stoked that he could come to 21 and up stuff with the family. don't stress man. the worst thing to do is lie, unless your parents are the dumbest people in the world. your parentscan read you like a book, everytime you lie because they were kids too man. just tell them you'll be careful with it. and for the love of god, don't go trying to buy alcohol all the time, make other people do it as well.

if you know the lady, be nice to her act casual. who care if she knows you drink. 17 and drinking OH MY GOD WHAT A SHOCKER! chances are ifyou act casual she'll maybe hint she knows, at that oint tell her you'd appreciate it if it stayed between you too. if she's not down for it, then your parent will confront and you'll tell them whats up and it'll be cool. if they ask for your ID tell them a liqour store already took it cuz it was shitty. if they're cool and don't want the neighborhood to know they are alright with it, they'll act mad to the lady and say they swiped it.


it's really nothing at all man. shit my parents were letting us get wasted with our 16 year old cousins in middle school, its good to learn how to drik so you're not that guy or girl.

you cant do anyhtign about the lady knowing so jsut accept that. if your driving to the cottage or whatever jsut go anyways if it means that much to you, your paretns have to realize at some point in time that you are becoming an independent person or soemthing along those lines, i dont know.

on another note... WHY THE FUCK DID YOU GO TO A STORE THAT YOU KNOW SOMEONE AT???

this is what she will do. its one or the other extreme. either she has already sunk into it and talked with the police, tell my parents, blah blah, or she just wont care. and since in the 15 minute drive home she didnt call my rents atleast its something.  

im just antsy right now. ugh!

i bet she wont tell. my parents caught our 16 year old nieghbor having a ton of kids over and partying. the nieghbor kid invited my sister to go too. across the street. ha ha ha . either way...big party no parents there. lots of alcohol. my dad said he wont tell the parents until the kid does something he really doesnt like. like speeding through the neighborhood. i bet she will keep quiet. but why would you try to buy liquor from a store where your parents work and you know people? if its illegal that is.

relax dude you were just trying to buy some alcohol, its not like your shootin up crack or something. unless your like 14 then yes you should learn a good lesson, because at 14 years old of age you just dont need to be drinking. but i doubt that and i bet money you are probably 17ish which is fine. i dont see how your parents could be so uptight about this situation other than the fact that its illegal to have a fake id. thats the only real issue. destroy it, and say you just walked in their hoping you wouldnt get id'd. and when your neighbour says you had a fakie say shes exagerating. would your parents actually treat this situation like its the end of the world? over trying to get some booze? hell my parents were offering me their own beer when i was underage just for a refreshment.

they will be no legal reprocutions, and worse comes to worse, you cant go on the trip and your grounded for a bit. just tell your parents taht you got it early for college, and you wanted to test it out. if they arent cool with you drinking at all, then just dont lie, tell the truth. you cant do much to save yourself, but you really arent fucked.

I believe he's from canada, so drink age is 19 or 18. Just tell her, you're what 1 or 2 years away from legally drinking? They should understand and just tell them you wont do it again. Honesty is a virtue.

just tell them you have no idea what that crazy bitch is talking about, make up a solid alibi (i was in a movie at 5pm.. or whatever) hide your ID in a really good spot and be like, search my shit! i dont have anything to hide! I've had similar problems with neighbors like this in the past, sometimes you just gotta choke a bitch.

dont do anything until someone else brings it up. you dont even know that she will tell at this point. chances are she will tell her husband about it and they will talk about "those punk ass kids" and leave it at that. if you go around beggin her not to tell or run and make a scene with your parents, shit will go sour quickly.

exactly. if your parents arent freaking crazy just be totally upfront with them. maybe just be like well i think its better for me to learn to only drink 5 or 6 beers, cause im gonna be 21 some time. and i dont wanna be that person who drinks like a mad man and ends up getting fucked over it. which would probably happen to most people if they didnt drink earlier.....just dont be dumb about it and tell the truth, always the best you can do...

It's different with everybody's parents, but with mine I'd definately go and talk to my parents before the neighbour got a chance to.
It would look real good if you said what happened and that you were scared of getting arrested, and that way you are going to them for help (parents like reassuring kids) instead of going to them because you're scared of what [i]they're[/i] going to do to you...

And if you're lucky you have one parent who is more chilled than the other, and you can just go to them (eg if your dad would kill you, just go to your mum)

On the other hand, you might just be freaking out, and nothing will happen...
