Where to move and ride?

Hey Everyone.
I just joined this site and I am pretty stoked about it. So I am in a debate. I am not sure where I want to move to next. I just moved back from Mammoth Lakes, CA back home due to tearing both my MCLS's and ACL's now that I am recovering I am trying to figure out where to move next.
I want to live in a ski town at a ski resort that has the best place for me to move to keep progressing in the park. I was going good in Mammoth till the accident. So where should I move for good snow and great parks? Any ideas? Thank everyone!

breck and keystone both offer a great progression system for park specifically.

But i feel an even better mountain to develope your park skills is Winter Park. While it doesnt have the name of breck or key, everything is built well, and they have super well built parks to help you progress! deffinately worth checking out. way chill community too!

Yeah I was looking into Colorado but I am not sure where to look for housing and that kind of thing. I miss Mammoth a lot but the politics of how that mountain is ran is kinda bullshit. Once again why I was looking into Colorado for that super chill atmosphere!

Honestly, if you really want to progress in park riding, you gots to go to summer camp somewhere (MT hood is sick as fuck and I have yet to go to Whistler but hope to someday).  And dont fuck yourself up during the winter so you cant go.  The spring/summer parks are the best  because they usually put more effort into them, the landings are softer and more people are riding park.  But from the places i've been in the winter,  Salt Lake City Utah has the best of access to alot of the best parks and pow.

Hey yeah I know about all the camps
and I have been to Mt. Hood camps a zillion times
but where is a good place to live and ride so
you can progress while living ya know?

I was until I injured my knee then I had to move back home to recover. Now I am looking for a new location to kinda start over. Lets just say me and Mammoths Politics did not get along!

i was from colorado springs/crested butte, but i skied a few seasons strictly at winter park...and i had the most fun of any of the mountains there! its super chill and fun. if you go with winter park, look in the town of winter park/fraiser super sick and super mellow! If you go the summit county route which is pretty cool too, i'd go w/ Frisco or Silverthorne. A little lower priced.

Colorado is a fun place to ski, and there is a good scene there for sure! I loved Crested Butte while i was there, they dont have much of a park usually, but word is that next year its full on DC sponsored and aided or trained building so should help a little! Super chill town, and you could hone in your all mountain/big mtn/bc abilities. CB would be my choice, but if you;re looking for a park fix, winter park/breck wont let you down!

Awh seriously thanks for all the info.!!! Its gonna help a lot. I am getting really antsy about moving and its still like 9 months away lol. I just want to live in the mountains ride and be happy again ya know. I live in Idaho and I pretty much hate it here and cant wait to get out!!

nah, not winter park for park, there park was mediochre last year, and how could you not mention keystone for park? more fun park than breck.

well i hadn';t skier WP before last year, but it's fine for rails, but the jumps all had really short landings, which isn't good for anyone, much shorter than the landing for which snoqualmie got sued.

Winterpark is a great place to progress. i got a lot better at rails and learned alot of new tricks there. i also liked the moguls
