Is it possible to have a song on your Ipod and put it into your library, because I keep trying to figure out how but nothing works... anyone know?

YOU DONT NEED A PROGRAM:
it is hard to do though kinda....
plug in your ipod, go to my computer, click on removable disk should say your ipod name.
tools;folder options;view;show hidden files and folders
now hit x and go back to it there should be a folder that is like opaque, i think it says music or something i dunno but click it there are like 5 diff. folders drag the music one to your desktop and theyll go to your itunes.
if you cant drag it to your desktop:
open itunes;file;add file to library
find that file i mentioned above click it till all these subfolders come up that are like F00 F01 etc.
shift down till that list is done, you have to do it like a bunch of times so yeah this way sucks more.
i havent done this in forever so lemme know if it works if you use it....

senuti is awesome, I second it. Plus it was produced my apple, so it just seamlessly uploads all the music into itunes.

Yeah, you don't need a program
You just need to edit your options in the control panel so that you "Show Hidden Files."
Then you'll be able to simply click and drag the music files from the ipod (which will show up as an external usb device in windows explorer) to your computer.

yah this works perfect as long as not more than half of your storage on your ipod is already being used because youre basically putting your library on there twice, one for ipod listening, and one for transferring

its because you need to enable it for disk use, which basically means you are using it like a hard drive or flash drive but it still stores the music than can be played on the ipod, its a little confusing but heres a little explanation that might help...but probably not
enable disk use-save itunes library onto it
ipod will still have stored songs on it which the same as what youre storing onto the disk but just in a different format
