Music Producing on Macs

I got my macbook pro about 2 weeks ago now and I absolutely love it. I'm going to school for music production and performance so I was just wondering if anyone here is in the same boat. Right now I'm cheap and recording on garage band until i save up for Pro Tools and all that goodness. I'm still tweaking with a bunch of things on the computer, so if anyone has any cool tips for anything music I'm down for some advice. cheers

yea but then i wouldnt know how the hell to use it.

you have a point..i suggest you simply learn the basics with garage band, watch videos and such, and then when you find that it doesnt suit your profesionalism anymore well you just will have enough money
