Feeler: Cheap Quality Computers

Ok so I have a hook up to get nice comps for gaming for like $1000.
They come with:
AMD X2 3800+ or higher/2gb ram/320gb SATA3.0 HDD/17" widescreen monitor/DVD burner/and GPU can be picked from a list.
It's a deal my buddy got. He owns a comp repair place. You could probably find something similar on newegg if you build it yourself.
However having actually played games on one of these. for the price, it's pretty sick.
Figured I'd share with others. If no one is interested just let it die out.

think they are like $200, but it's a package so can't split em. you can get monitors mad cheap on newegg.com though.

I'm assuming that these are custom-made units, which are just as, if not more, reliable than brand names.

video card depends, not gonna have him put a 8600 in there if the person doesn't game, that's a HUGE waste of a sick card.

Yep they are customs, and they easily stand up to anything dell/hp puts out.
Do they compare to something like a custom falcon-nw, or a voodoo pc? hells no, but then again these are $1000, not $5-60000.
And honestly it's really just allot of bells and whistles with their comps.
