I'm sorry but I'm not surprised one bit. This is just a tip of the iceberg on how these events are handled and the things that are said during them. If anything you should be more appalled by the lies and propaganda that the politicians spread daily.
Alright, since I'm not sure everyone will get this as people in general are stupid, here goes.
This is a White House manual issued by the Bush Admin. If you read it, you'll notice something very clear... it tells people to deny anyone speaking out against the president or whatever event their right to free speech, also known as a violation of the Constitution of the United States.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, FUCK THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION.
And I am, very very much so. Doesn't diminish the fact that this is a manual directing people to deny others of their constitutional rights, issued by the Presidents office, which is suposed to uphold those rights.
If this is real it's pretty dumb, but its likely been around long before Bushcorp.
When was the last time you ever, ever saw a recording where there were naysayers heckling or shouting at/about the president during an address? It simply does not happen, and often I wondered why... Well, I guess we have our answer.
Shame nobody will do anything about it either way ;_;
Exaclty, theres a small group of protestors who may show up to every rally, but theres no mass participation like other nations. Truly a reflection of our charicter and attitude these days...
Complacense is rampant.
Yeah speaking of switzerland and/or france, I just need someone to tell me how to obtain legal citizenship and I'm so there. Even canada will do, anywhere but here. I have plenty of cash but man the papertrail is insane.
Switz is one of the hardest to get from what I have been told... France or other places, I think it's usually the same, live there for 5-10 years and make it your home.
Maybe the saddest thing out of all of this is people like this that think the president is the one to blame. It's the whole political system from ground up that needs to be cleaned up, but that's impossible to do with all of the corruption and fucked up people in this world. If anybody thinks that somewhere else in the world is a better place to live is an idiot, it's the same shit everywhere but with a different wrapper around it.
Maybe i missed a few crucial sentences, but from what I read, there was
nothing about denying free speech. It's an advice manual on how to
minimize disruption from demonstrators. The United States Constitution
does not include the right to demonstrate without obstruction. If
somebody was protesting against me at my house, it should not be
illegal for me to shut my door. And it should not be illegal for the
president to deny entrance to demonstrators or try to drown out their
message at presidential events.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
That's the exact wording, and I'll be damned if this manual instructing those in charge to deny people of not only our right to free speech, but also our right for peaceful assembely, does not tread directly on the constitution.
Uhhh, the President apparently has alot of power and influence himself(his family is rich as fuck and his dad was already a shitty president) too from what i've seen. What with pardoning people out of jail, vetoing troop withdrawal bills, the list goes on. Yes there are alot of people that work under him, but he has alot of influence on them and he does have the power to make big changes.
Bush, Cheney, their administration, IS to blame mostly. Yes, the corruption goes all the way through government, but these are the ones who are to blame for most every thing in the past 8 years, and that's a LOT of things that have started to destroy the foundation the country was founded on.
Please. All the president is just a puppet and a messenger for the people that actually run this country. Don't be so ignorant, the only people that have the power to run the country as they like is the fear throbbing dictators.
It doesn't really matter in the end who is the one to blame, most of the politicians from left to right are in the same boat and end up fucking the people one way or another.
We can change that though, if we all Rally up together and get Ron Paul in office. He is the only Solution to this ongoing problem. yes the big money making corrupt people prob dont want him in, but they are not invincible and with enough support, they cant legally deny Paul the office, and if they do, they will suffer big repurcussions, i guarantee that.
I don't think he's the only one... Obama's big on ending corruption and trying to break down party lines and unify the country. I really don't want to get into peaching about candidates here, but fuck, Obama seems to be on the ball with that.
Jea, Obama seems like a good candidate too. Its nice to have some true patriots running for office finally. Im sorry for preaching candidates, but fuck, im just so tired of the here and now president that I just got to look past that and look to the future.
First of all that's impossible. They will get in the office who they want and who will benefit them the most. They make us believe that we have a choice, but in reality there is no choice. The choice is made for us behind the close doors months before elections. The only voting that works is in small local communities and on local issues where people actually have a say.
Dude, you need to realize that people do actually have some power to do things. I mean fuck, we disbanded the europeans back in the day and came over to start our own country . Revolutions happened, civil wars, etc, you need to think about what people have done in the past and lost their life for our liberties today. People need to realize that they can gather up and physically make changes if they have to. If the military tried to stop people by shooting them, then hell would break loose. About 75% of Montanans are well armed for example. I think alot of people realize now that they are trying to create Big brother and are not happy. Alot of the 20-39 year old people are becoming really politically active, things are changing, slowly, we are not Big Brother yet. If the goverment thinks they can make drastic changes without any public input, then we can also take drastic measures on them. You cant settle with this "well i cant do anything about it" attitude. People have alot more power than they think they do.
See you brought yourself to the only way we can make a change in this country: Revolution. Good luck with that, let me know when the majority of america that can't think for themselves decides to start using their heads. Now we are looking at totally different social issues that need to be addressed before that can happen. Government knows this and they have created a system to prevent this from happening.
Im not saying its the only way to make a change right now, but it has been done before and has been pulled off. Our government is 200 years old. Yes, thats like two lifetimes, they dont know everything there is to know, they are just regular people like me and you. They have some tricks up their sleeve and so do we. They are not invincible beings. The live and die just like us. People have been asleep for the last 20 years, they are finally waking up. You cant ignore them. The power of the internet (one of the only things that the government hasnt gotten their hand in yet) is proof of that.
not fake at all. i covered g w bush during his last election, and the shit you have to go through just to get in with a press pass is outrageous. you also get advanced reports of travel routes, arrival and departure down to the minute, and information on designated protest areas and the such. if you have ever been involved in something like that, you really understand how much the govt. has complete control over 99% of things that happen anywhere near an important political figure.
