best hands down, for park and all mtn combined, would be jay peak. they dont have much of a park, a few decent jumps, some decent rails/boxes too, but trust me, wen ur there u wont really wanna ski any park. if they have another year next year like they did this past year id deff recommend every1 to take a trip up there. places are sooooo cheap to stay at, every1 is soooo chill. if you dont go during the holidays there wont be any1 there. you'l barely see any1 in the glades. during holidays there are more people, but still very nice. almost always have a good amount of snow, feb-march is usually just amazing. this past year they had 100% trails open in late april wen most mtns were starting to close.
it can get windy up top like some1 else said, but once u get onto the trails its on the other side of where the wind usually comes from so most of the time its not bad/sheltered. and if you go, most people end up glade skiing, or moguls, or some pow if there's been a big storm, so you get warm skiing. it can get reeeeally fuckin cold tho, esp. late in the day wen the sun goes down. besides these few things, which can really happen at any mtn, jay is the shit. everytime ive gone its been the msot fun ive ever had skiing. gets better everytime. they are real chill about "features" on the mtn too. there are some reeeeeally dope skiers there every year, and they dont block any real obsticles maybe besides a cliff thats like 100ft. you wont have a problem finding cliffs like 5-20 ft. higher then that u gotta look but still not hard. out of bounds simply means ski patrol wont go there. they dont care if u do, just wont help you out obviously. also they are pretty chill about maryjane. i dunno what else to say about jay. i deff think its better then stowe, but ill give it to stowe they would be 2nd on my list.
gore mountain, sugarbush, sugarloaf, stowe, mad river glen are also good mtns for terrain. the more northern ones like jay peak and sugarbush get more snow tho so they are better on crappy seasons like last year. if theres a big snowstorm and u feel like being retarted and goin to whiteface instead of somewhere like jay, then its supposed to be nice. but besides then its always windy and icy as fuck.
for park, killy(this past year wasnt so great, been better in the past), mt snow(if they actually open up the big park and dont have 4 yearolds hitting the features, and dont have rollers on the landings at the end of the day), okemo, loon, and waterville valley all have their good seasons, sunday river too.(mighta forgot somewhere else, but those are prolly the main ones)
i havnt been to all these places, but i work at a ski shop and i know a fair bit about most of them. a lot i have been too tho. other places that i know have been mentioned to me before, have on/off seasons, dont know too much about are: belleayre, wachusett, maybe smuggs, straton(supposed to have a nice park, i think it depends on the year tho, more expensive im pretty sure then every mtn ive said), sunday river. again, dont know much about them, ask some1 else, may be worth it, maybe not...
