I had them today, shot an 82. Have them tomorrow and friday too. I don't care, if i don't make it i will play Disc Golf or water polo.

Just finished mine today. Shot an 86 the first day, and 92 yesterday and today, really bad. I had a 30 going in at the turn today, and shot a 6 and then a 9. Overall today, I had 11 pars, and the rest I just imploded. It's okay though. I should be shooting high 70's again in a week or two.

I hope that a combination of the over saturation of the market of golf courses and the decreasing amount of baby-boomers who can still play golf cause the industry to go into a downward spiral.

We have like 15 matches for varsity and JV. School starts the 25th. 18 holes of tryouts. It'll probably be 2 days. It depends on how many people try out. Its 5 45 and I wanna sleep.

ya, i am on the girls golf team, we have like 4 girls show up each day for practice, but we should have 9 on the team, so i doubt we are gonna have tryouts. good luck tho hun

god-god-god-godammit. I just back from mine, I shot a friggin' 88. I'm only pissed cuz I played alright but I doubled two holes in a row. I hit like all the greens in regulation but left myself like 30-60 foot putts.

every time i have an important tournament i end up screing up.. the last 3 tournaments i played 87-90-87.. i have 2 more coming up, hopefully ill play better! It pisses me off because when i just play for fun im always in the high 70's or low 80's so i know i can do better but never do in tournaments

high school water polo just seems strange. Some schools in michigan have it but not any around me. Day 2 of tryouts today. I'll do better this time.

Do you have to get under par to make varsity? Because I kinda want to try out for my varsity golf team but I know I can't get under par.

we don't need to shoot under par to make the team but we need to shoot under or near par to play in matches. Our team was state champions a few years ago. We arent as good now but the top 5 guys all shoot in the 70's most of the time. Where do you go to school P-Jo?

Grand Haven, South of Muskegon, North of Holland on the Lakeshore. Its pretty competitive to make our golf team though, we have a lot of kids that try out and are pretty good.

^I have, but the only team we got to play was a college women's team ( it was awesome)... but I may play if i don't make golf.

i didn't. I got smoked. I shot 88, 84, 82. they take the top two scores and when two of my friends shoot like 2 under par and these two goddam soph. shoot low 70's. well lets just say i wasn't up to par. But i'm glad, they have to be at the highschool at 6 in the morning for tournements like 3 days a week.

hmm never heard of it. My coach put me on the team cause he liked my attitude towards golf or something. Its cool with me cause now I can play for free every day at the nicest course around here.
