Let me start this off by saying that I know that Real Time will be one of the best movies of the year, and let me also say that I think LSS and S6 are some of the best movies ever. However, as a snow starved skier who just had ACL surgery on Friday I have been sitting here looking forward to the level 1 trailer above all the rest. When it was released I watched it immidiately only to be disappointed. I remember last year when the LSS trailer came out the 7 blunt that Stefan Thomas did made me so amped on skiing and the upcoming movie. Without seeing any tricks that will be in Real Time (save split second blips) I cannot get so amped this time around. Please, Josh Berman, if you aren't planning on it already, release another trailer with actual shots of skiers kicking ass for our viewing pleasure. If anyone else agrees with me let him know by replying to this thread.

it did what a trailer is supposto, make you wonder whats in store for the movie. I though it was very well known and it allows you too see the movie, without giving it all away!

LEARN HOW TO READ! how do people not see the references on the site which say that this is THE FIRST OF 2 TRAILERS? He is doing something different as a preview and there is going to be a more traditional one shortly.

what I'll say is a little off topic, but can you guys imagine how long that 4-minute timelapse teaser was to edit !
it's like frame by frame...4 minutes X 60 secondes X 30 fps = 7200 fucking frames !
it just blows my mind.

"Why are the files so damn huge?
This isn't your ordinary trailer. Its more or less a 4 and a half minute timelapse of the entire season. While most web clips are released at 10, 15, 20, or even 24 frames per second, the only way to make this work was a 30fps file. More frames = bigger file sizes. The larger two files are also HD.
What the hell?!?!? I can't see any action!
This isn't your normal trailer. Its different. Its a 6-month period and 80+ hours of footage crammed into less then 5 minutes. You're not supposed to be able to see action in the traditional sense, but look closely and there's some pretty awesome stuff in there.
I hate this trailer. It makes me nauseous and gives me a headache. Also, I don't like anything new and different.
This trailer isn't for everyone. We wanted to do something new and different, so, we did. We'll have a more traditional version of the trailer with "real" watchable action sooner or later. Until then, avoid seizures by not watching this one in a dark room or more then three times per day."

haha...SOOO dead on, one for people that can understand the idea of "REALTIME" and how this fits that and appreciate a season recap with just "teases." Such amazing time put in and creativity beyond anyone elses trailer! Every one of you that is pissed just want MORE, so it worked for you too. Now you have to wait for the next one to see BANGER shots.

i got acl surgery two fridays ago and im still kinda hanging around the house. I watched the whole thing frame by frame and it was okay. Basically just a big slideshow of the season.
ANYWAYS... I think its time for my daily q-tipping (my ears feel really good after a good q-tip sesh and I think I can hear better too)

this "trailer" didn't really help at all to show what's really being thrown down in movie. plus the major ADD i have made it even more impossible to at least focus on any trick
berman i hope you get a better trailer up in the next week or so. i hate waiting for a legit trailer in the summer since there's no snow to quell my thirst

and it sucked, way to show every single rail hit....for that fact the movie was rails, rails, rails....it was a disgrace to the skiing industry...watch a movie made by a decent company e.g matchstick!

Stefan's segment is soooo ill. As is Downey and Corey V. Overall I wasn't very stoked on LSS though. Forward is the last L1P flick that really got me hyped.

He has a point about LSS showing every single hit on the rails they did. most movies only include a couple shots of the same rail. LSS on the other hand... It just gets boring seing the same rails again and again.

I know there are so many people on this site saying that it sucks, and there are many people who say its incredible.
Here is the truth of it. The timelapse is a great concept.....but for i trailer i think it was just a badidea. Its great to be different, but you need to do it in a way that will not make your audience want to puke while watching the trailer.
Im sorry guys, but thats the way it is. Everything went by soo fast that you just could not focus on anything, and your brain just has a hard time processing anything that comes out of there. It literaly makes you sick, and not want to watch it. I tryed....many times, but i just can't finish it. How can you get pumped about skiing, or a movie when you can see skiers ski? Its a great idea, but i think it was just performed wrongly.
