hey guys i live in washington but im goin to tahoe for school. wonderin what season passes to get cuz im plannin on gettin them early im thinkin three or four mountains maybe? any suggestions. squaw northstar and alpine is what im likin right now.
Not true.
ALL resorts are looking at this lawsuit, so it would be an industry change, not just Alpine. Nothing will really change till it's all resolved.
Squaw is amazing but super expensive...if you want a squaw pass try to work there part time or something so it's free. Alpine is sick too-I've had a pass there for two years and while it's smaller then Squaw, since it's the next mountain over it's similar terrain, and super fun. Boreal is fun to have a night pass for since they have a cool night park. Some places do a double pass ( I think northstar has one like that, I don't remember the other resort it's linked too) which could be cool.
Squaw > Alpine but forget about squaw unless you work there or want to pay over $1200 for one pass. I would pay $50 to go there on the epic days though.
let's not blow this out of proportion. northstar's jumps sucked, yes. but they had a lot of fun and creative jibs. jump-wise alpine killed northstar but northstar def had legit jibs.
