how do they pay for the medical bills and what not. i mean, canada has nationwide healthcare or whatever. the US doesnt. do most canadians have some sort of travelers insurance? what if they dont?
reason im asking is cause i got jacked in canada and my insurance didnt cover it. they were supposed to reimburse my payment, but didnt. so now im in hella, hella fuckin debt.

canadians travelling to america, well the smart canadians, usually buy blue cross insurance.
if you don't you get fucked and you have to drive to the border to get your treatment.
blue cross is great though, many years back my lil brother had a seizure and Pennsylvania and they had him at a hospital there and takin care of them, i came down with some weird flu thing, so blue cross just flew us back on a learjet to toronto.

thats weird, i hope your policy isn't expired. if its not call them on the phone and tell them to get their shit together. however, as since you said jacked, meaning you got robbed? so you weren't physically injured yes? because i think blue cross is only medical insurance
