you need bigger than 170, probably mid 170s, ar6 is good, most LOOK bindings are recommended, and boots you will have to try on and find ones you like. but i'd look for a pair of salomon 1080's from a year or two ago.

no he won't at 135 and 5'6" he's just a baby boy, he has absolutely no need to go over 170, especially if he's still learning and plans to spen most of his time in the park. that being said a 170 AR6 would be good. or if you want to go cheap, a 169 silencer would be nice as well.

ive got a pair of the 04 171 1080s with the robot graphics and the bindings are the look p.7 silver ones the only thing thats missing is a break that a shop could replace for a few bucks, or you could ski without it haha

yeah dude im 5'7" ana 135 lbs. 171 in the older 1080s is about the perfect length for me, but i have the foils in the 166 cuz 174 was too big. so it pretty much also depends on which brand of ski it is, and what type of core, and the swing weight, everything like that. they all size a little differently, i always say for me id go anywhere from 165 to 175, i like to stay as close to the top of my head as possible. thats just whats comfortable for me. but if your going for a super light skinny park ski you can go way above your head like simon with his 181 pro model this year and i think hes only like 5'6" or somthing. an then i have some friends who are confortable with there park skis up to their chin or shorter. so just do some demoing an see which style fits you best.
