Anyone know what the flex is like on these? They look like a really awesome ski and the im looking for a little over 90 waist to ski in the park, without the ski being super soft.
i have demo'ed both the bridge and the wall, but i can't remember which one is which anymore. i think that the bridge is the center mounted one, and for having a wood core, it is fairly flexable. it's not as soft as most park skis, and can do turns well, but it can't carve all that well, because it is center mounted. i don't think that the prices are out, because most of them haven't even been made yet, because volkl waits forever until they are too backed up in their factory, and decides to make them all in like one week. my dad is a volkl rep, and they haven't sent him anything yet, so prices i think are TBA. i doubt their site will be updated too, but you can give it a try.
ahh, ok i remember that the bridge was fairly stiff, but every ski time i tried to demo it, it was 10 cm too long, so im not that much help. it was about as stiff as the karmas, maybe just alittle bit stiffer
Ya I saw your post when I searched earlier,it didn't really help me out tho since you said they were sloppy when you were spinning and didn't know if it was just you having to get use to them or not.Can you compare them to another ski? Like flex wise, cause im looking for something like mid range flex but in the lower 90s as a waist.80 waist skis just aren't cutting it for me anymore,I want to experience skiing all over next season with a wider ski.
Hmm, lets see. I also have the Scratch BC. (Old ones, so its a 90 waist) and the Bridge was definatly stiffer than it, but not too much. I liked the flex on it becasue I really don't ski much park at all, so they felt good to me. Maybe be a little much if you're mainly skiing park. But I'm not sure. My BC's were soft. A softer ski, but also because I kind of destroyed the foam core. So that the best comparison I can give you. Scratch's were funner for messign around on groomers/buttering/spinning off small drops and jumps/park. But for real skiing Scratch's were far too sloppy, the Bridge were much better for that aspect.
