One season boots.

i need a boot for next year. i will only be using it for 1 season until my feet stop growing.

i know everyone will say go to your shop and try some on but what im looking for now i basicly models i should avoid. so like if any of you have had bad expiriences with certain boots or whatever.

the boot needs to be reletively cheap ($350 or less) and i would like it to be warm and have a medium-soft flex.

if it helps im 5'10" 140 lbs. riding dumonts.

how do you know your feet are going to stop growing?

and $350 is plenty of budget to find something decent. that'll easily get you a pair of x waves

$350 is quite a bit for good boots if you look around.

My rossi power 17s werent bad... actually they sucked, they were sooo soft but just reallyy uncomfortable and gave me the worst shinbang. SPKs (What i've got now) are sooooo great. But a little too soft in deep pow

yeah, im in wisconsin so there aren't really any decent shops within 200 miles. im going to maine in august and my aunts house (where im staying) is only 15 minutes away from al's ski barn so ill go there and try some on.but yeah, ill avoid the scratch.

as for how i know my feet will stop growing is that my feet havent grown for much longer than usual so i think they've stopped. i want a boot for one season to make sure i dont waist my money on an expensive boot that ill grow out of.

My foils were comfy and warm. You can get them cheap, if you buy a season behind.

Just a question, my foils are getting a bit small, lenghtwise. Can they be punched out? Will than affect the sole lenght?

they can easily be punched or ground and it does not affect your sole length at all
