35mm lens on digital SLR

ok i know its in the wrong forum but... my dad just gave me all my grandpas 35mm cameras and bag full of lenses. turns out he was a photo buff (he died when i was 2 so i never actually knew him) so my question is could i use a digital SLr with all theses lenses, there are a great variety of zooms and wide angles.

im just now looking into getting an SLR over my point and shoot because i have a full time job and can afford a 900$$ camera:)

well that depends on what brand/mount the lenses are and what camera you're getting.

the 35mm is Olympus with a fairly standard looking mount


i was more concerned with the whole auto focus thing
