Replying to Wicked weird. what gives?

okay, so this is my dream.

I went to prom with our senior class president, named John. I would also mention that I am going to be a senior and he graduated. We took pictures together and headed to the prom. I don't remember our transportation, just being in this hallway. We held hands as we walked down this hallway to the room. But randomly, I don't know why, this girl asked me if I would sit with her because she didn't have a date, so I sat at a table with this girl named Anna. So basically, I ditched him and spent the night with the girl, and I didn't seee John all night. After prom everyone was outside, and I started crying when I realized I had ruined his prom, I thought he would be mad/sad but he told me to stop crying and that it was okay. I said that I messed up the whole night for him. He was nice and said there would be other proms. The next day at school, he spoke over the intercom like he always does, and said he had been ditched at his second prom, but he said it in a joking way, but it still made me sad because I ditched him at his prom.

I would also like to point out that I have never talked to this guy in my life, I have never had a crush on him, I've never even thought of him,I only know him as the president so why am I ruining his prom in my dream?
