I was just looking to see if people got goggles because of how they look and how they fit into your attire. Or if most people like me, get them because their better and more reliable.

Well, I go with how good they look on my face. Gggles these days are getting pretty high tech/reliability, so if your buying from a reputable company, your most likely not going to be dissapoinrted.

exactley, unless your face is diformed an oakley or anon goggle, for example, they most likely will fit your face. So i go with what looks good and what will fit well with my helmet.

Quality is first, then price, then fit, then look is how I look for them. Ive had motives for the past 3 years, and just relpace the lenses with necessary. They are a grat goggle!

1) fit with my helmet
2) quality, but even here it's usually between 3 goggles and all are great quality, so I think it's really just what look you prefer

Smiths dont fit my face well for some reason. For me its about
-fitting the face
-fitting my helmet
-visibility
-available lenses (I go clear as possible usually)
-looks

it's all about how well they look sagged over my nose. neon colors are a plus. as well as custom straps.

quality wise theyre all close to the same thing, so go for looks, pick the colors to match (either way you can pick colors to match they do nothing for performance), and then try it on with your helmet cause its a problem if its uncomfortable but depending on what helmet you have almost all of them will fit the helmet

I base on quality before looks. I quit buying Oakley because i always had mad fog problems. Maybe it was just me but i went through so many a-frame lenses and they all fogged. I like Anon's alot, and Smith

wisdoms fit my face, fit with my helmet, look good, and come with a bunch of different lens options. the only reason i'll start buying a different goggle is if i buy a new helmet.

I fully thought this thread had something to do with buying goggles based on bindings... just that captilization of Looks did it for me.
I kinda need some new goggles soon coz my Scott goggles are getting all frayed around the strap. Will try get another season out of them. I guess it's pretty much like shopping for sunglasses, you want them to be good at what they do and fit right, and if they fit OK they usually look alright, right?
