Forest Fires in Canada

The South Shore fires reminded me of the huge forest fires up in Canada a few years back. Does anyone on the peace coast remember these? They were so large that the skies down here in NH were blocked out by the smoke.

YES i remember that, i was at smugglers notch in VT at the time and it was around 4th of july and it was supposed to be nice out but the smoke made it cloudy allll day
