i dropped my phone into a pool. i instantly got it out of the water. I took all the pieces off and i am letting it dry out. If you have had this experience, has your phone worked after you dropped it in water?
if you turned it off right away, and you don't turn it on for a week or so, there's a good chance it will work. water doesn't damage electrical components unless it causes a short-circuit. except the screen, if it got inside the screen, it probably won't work.
I always wondered why they didn't make a water resistant phone. a couple of rubber seal and you could use a phone under water. Except the microphone. So there would have to be some waterproofing there. But I would way rather have a shock, water, and dirt resistant phone than one that can play music or take pictures.
ya i had my phone in my pocket and i was on a canoe and the canoe tipped and i had to swim to shore with it in my pocket and i let it dry for a week and then it work fine after that
