Ghost/Scary Experiences Thread

i was staying in this cabin owned by a friend
he said it was haunted by the previous owners, and he was 100% serious about all of this
that night while i was sleeping, i heard scratching on the window screen, and then the mirror started moving...

i was scared nearly to the point of shitting myself

so i freaked out, turned on the light and looked over at the demon mirror

it turned out to be a flying squirrel that got in through the window

i dunno i used to hear shit walkin around in my room all the time at my old house, and this one time i saw stuff fall off my wall and i blinked and it was back.

really wierd, but true.

when i was little i went to a camp on cape cod and all the kids in my cabin bought a ouji board cuz our counselors told them about it and i was like u guys are idiots and shit and then this fat mexican kid named mario said that the ouija board said i was going to die because i didnt beleive it and i was freaked the fuck out and called my mom and cried. but then i just decided he was fat and mexican and the counselors were moving the board. those things arent real somebody is pushing it just so u know

alright so last summer we are staying basically in this field by my buddies house. we had a big party before, but only like 5 of us stayed over. we were in 2 different tents and my buddy and i got bored so decided to walk around the field at about 2. now ghosts are one thing that i believe in and scare the shit out of me. so we are walking around talking and hear something, eh whatever probably an animal. we go through the woods into another field and i swear to god there was a nazi sign in that field from the moon light. looked exactly like it. so im like oh fuck no im not going in there and we turn around through the woods. im like dude stop touching me and shit and he was like im not. im like dude i am fucking afraid of ghosts quit doing that shit. and i made him walk in front of me. as we are getting out of the woods something grabbed me i have no clue what like grabbed me and i fucking flipped out and ran all the way back to the tent.

this summer they were tearing down this abandoned school by my house. it has KKK signs, writing etc. all over it in the basement. and not lying i have seen them at that school before at night. in the day its fine though. well my cousin and i go there to mess around and see what all is in it. its day, but its all boarded up so its dark inside it. we go in and it was nothing to exciting i got an exit sign. now we decide to go down to the locker rooms through the gym. bad idea, we are walking down and hear shit down there. but i guess we were curious so we keep going down and when we get down we both saw something like a shadow kinda like a human move and heard something break. we run back up the stairs and the door is completely locked. now we started freaking out like oh my god were gonna die holy shit. so im like okay were gonna run through the locker room into the basement and out. so we fucking book it out that way i swear to god i saw something else in the basement, like i saw in the locker room. i never ran so fast in my life. probably the scariest one that happened to me.

Oh shit I've got a ton..

These few didn't happen to me though, but to some girl who goes to my school. There was this huge massacre in my town and supposedly her house is built right on the site where it happened.

One time she was in her room and she saw a black cat walking around, her family doesn't have any pets. The next morning her mom woke up with cat scratches all over her face.

Another time she was running on the treadmill in her basement and a big 3' speaker got picked up by nothing and thrown across the room right infront of her.

Tons of times they hear footsteps and shit everywhere. And supposedly they had a medium come in and check out the house and SUPPOSEDLY her attic is a fucking portal for the dead.

She had a friend over and they were in the basement, and her friend opened the door to her laundry room and saw red eyes staring at her. So she moved around to see if they would follow her and they did and then they started like getting wicked close to her so she turned on the light and they were gone.

And the last one I know of is the weirdest. So the girl was out with friends and she calls and was like "Yah mom ill be home 20 minutes" so her mom said "Well shut the garage door when you get home". So 5 minutes later, the garage door closes, then the door from the garage to the house opens and closes and there's footsteps that go upstairs to the girls room. Her parents were like "Lindsay.. lindsay.. is that you?" and no response. So they called her and they were like "Um, are you home?" and the girl said, "No, I'm still 15 minutes away.."

whether its on a tv show or not doesn't matter.  my sister was there and experienced that shit.  saw the metal doors and everything.

haha, last week I was staying at a parents friends house that's over 100 years old in the adirondacks and we were talking about ghost stories and shit like that. since it's an old house they have all this random old stuff, including this one indian bust ( like a statue, but only the head and top of chest and shoulders) anyway, they put it in my sisters bed and made it to look like someone was sleeping there. so she goes up alone when we were eating to get something and we hear this scream from upstairs. im like shit so I run up and see it and it looks like some indian is laying in her bed, then they came in laughing. it was a great prank, scared me.
when I get my license I'm gonna take my huge ass maglite, my knife and a few friends and go check out places in the weirdNJ books.

one more quick one involving a bed too. in my room theres' an extra bed, they could be bunk beds but they just sit next to each other. one day I was lying awake in my bed late at night when I heard shuffling coming from behind me in the empty bed and I swear the sheets were ruffled and shit when I finally looked. I froze and didn't move for like a half an hour, I was younger then and scared shitless. because of that I always have something on the extra bed when I go to sleep, like a few magazines or books and some clothing, same with empty chairs facing my bed. it's a weird fear.

There is no such things as ghosts, seriously.

ill try to think of some more, I go camping a lot and sometimes if it's just a local trip, not one out in the middle of nowhere we're by these old buildings and weird stuff happens.

alright i'll tell a couple from my life. no one ever believes me when i tell these but i swear to god they happened and our family still talks about them from time to time.


so when i was 7-9ish i lived in this house that was really pretty normal in the day time. open rooms and it was nice. but at night i always was uneasy about it. something didn't seem right about the vibe that the house gave.

so the set up for the rooms was you walk up the stairs bathroom on the left and a little further down the hall my bro & i's room on the right with a closet across the hall, my parents room at the end of the hallway to the left and my sister room at the end of the hallway.

so i used to always have these weird dreams that there were red girls in black and red skimpy suits and i was really small...so i could like walk around these huge girls and i used to wake up all the time in the midst of the battles between red and black (weird right? it made no sense). and i'd always get this weird feeling about my closet, which was filled with a ton of my mother's old coats and some boxes, cuz me and my bro had our own dressers (we shared a bunk bed). so when i'd wake up from these dreams i'd always have a mini chubby and goto the bathroom to try to pee (which was fucking impossible at those times). so when i'd walk in the hallway and look down the stairs it's be fucking pitch black and super scarey. anyway enough house set up.


freak out #1.

so this one night i wake up and roll over (i was facing the wall) and i see a shitload of like white little clouds swirling around my room and going in and out of my closet. at first i thought that it was cuz i was sleeping and we had a nightlight so you know how it can taker your eyes some time to adjust. so i probably was laying there for like 2 minutes just watching these things swirl around and covering myself with my blanket cuz i was scared as shit. i kept whispering my bro's name but he wouldn't wake up. which was weird cuz he slept through all of this even the climax. so after about 2 minutes on of these things comes to the foot of our bunk bed about ceiling high and looked at me. it didn't have a face or anything, just like eye holes and a mouth hole (not 100 percent sure about that part) but right when that happened i started screaming my ass off and freakin' out. and about 10-15 seconds later....which seemed like 5 minutes my mom busted into my door. all the things had moved into the closet when i freaked out and my sister woke up. about 30 seconds after my mom had came in my door my sister runs outa her room screaming and crying (she was 10ish) and described the same shit i saw from her closet, which was jsut on the otherside of the wall. it was the oddest thing i've ever seen.


you might not believe that because i was 7, i still have a hard time believing it. but that shit happened and my sister saw the same shit which amazes me. me and my sister slept on my mom's floor for about a month. my brother didn't wake up at all even after the screaming and the lights were one. that right there was weird.


freak out #2:

so we're getting home from school and we open the garage. my sister is leading, i'm behind her, my lil bro is behind her. so it's windy out...but no tornado winds or anything crazy. so between the garage door and the fron door there is a connecting room with a huge (40 pounds or so) rug and a huge mirror. so it's windy in the garage and my sister opens the door. right as she walks in, i'm half way through the door, and bro is still in the garage. the rug flys up about 6 feet in the air and starts spinning...one of the cornors of the rug knocks into the mirror and it shatters right at our feet. we scream and run up the street to our neighbors. then our parents come home and ask what happened and thought we were lying to them cuz the rug was so fucking heavy.

freak out #3:

so i had never had this problem before the house and never had it after. but it's kinda far fetched and more of a weird story then ghost/scarey. i started sleep walking and would wake up in the bathroom (alot) and in all sorts of weird places around the house. i never really understood why. sometimes i'd wake up with the lights on and the bathroom door locked and be out cold on the floor. or i'd wake up in our basement (it was finished) on the floor. anyway, so this one time my mom comes down stairs at around 3 or 4 in the morning and i'm sitting under the kitchen table with all of the knifes from our kitchen and have them organized from big to small all facing me. my mom called my name and i was alseep and didn't answer for about 5 minutes. i don't recall any of it except her carrying me back to bed.

another weird story about that house that didn't involve me:

so my mom and sister were home and the cable guy came over. he installed the cable and left, everything was normal. about two weeks later we recieve a call from the cable company that the guy confessed he had come over to our house afterward the install with intentions of raping my mom and sister (my mom's attractive). they had to tell us so if we saw him we could call the cops. fuckin' weird.


anyway so that's the crazy stories from the weirdest house i've ever lived in. there a more weird things that happened but they aren't as shocking as those were. that house had something going on it. i'm so glad we moved.

not a ghost story.. but weird enough

Me and my buddy were scouting this school being built and I roll in and there are lights on which is always suspicious then when I get to a hall I'm looking to my right, then I look back and there is this guy in what appears to be a hazmat suit which was creepy as fuck. We were both shocked by eachother and I book it the hell out of there

for like a month and a half ive seen 11:34 both times a day....and one time i didnt see it and i went on newschoolers and the first thread i looked in, the person who created it had 1134 posts...it sucks!!!

Mine arn't as exciting as some of yours but what ever i'll share.


Number one. Me and my friend were chilling in my living room and hanging out on the computer. We hear voices up stairs and he's like oh your moms home? i was like yeah i think so. Time passes. my dads not home so i figure shes just having a long phone conversation. We go in to garage to get some Juice bags (MMM) and her cars not there and it's not out side either. So were wow wtf. and listen really hard. We still hear it but can't make out words. He's like dude i'm going home. so i stand there a little freaked out and then can't take it and run outside. Like 30 minutes later my mom comes home and i was sooo skeched out.

Number two. this is kinda random. but for like 2 weeks every so often i'd wake up and there'd be weird like sqiggle marks on the walls kinda under my bedish. It was really random and creaped me out

shit i'm sitting here reading these and my lights suddenly go off..... it was my sister coming downstairs.

The one about the girl's face in the door literally made me well up with tears it freaked the shit out of me

this one isn't really a ghost story but my mom went to a girl's sweet sixteen party when she was a kid. There was a tarot card reader there, and all the girls got their cards read. The reader refused to read this one girl Wendy's cards, she just wouldn't do it. A week later Wendy got hit by a car on her bike and died.... my mom was there

Well, this isnt my story, but a friends. So my friend was sitting on his couch in the basement, and the dor to the garage suddenly opened by itslef, and then closed. And it's not an old shitty door that does that, it locks and everything. So my friend decided to experiment with it and told it to open and close and it did. I can't think of anything of mine rght now.

we live by this old abondoned mill that has lumber and shit all over the place, we went there at night and the wind was blowing and metal was hitting together. scary shit 

let me start off by saying ghosts have always fascinated me since i was little, i love haunted houses and creepy places like that. i'd never really felt threatened by them ever...

earlier in the semester i had really bad night terrors for almost a month and a half straight, i would wake up soaking wet and not know what was happening. for the last few weeks of them i would be tortured by these two presences. i couldnt see them but i knew they were there and not friendly, and i could tell they were the same two every time. their favorite way to kill me was to catch me and slowly shove something down my throat until i suffocated and right when i would die i would wake up gasping for air as if i have never taken a breath before in my life. i swear one my life i could still feel their presence when i would wake up and they would hang around for a minute or two and then leave. i would lay in bed for hours each night afraid to fall asleep because i knew they would come back.  just about the to point of insomnia. then they just ended.

then the other night i was having a totally innocent dream,the kind where you can control your movements,  hanging out with my friends down in one of their basements. we decided to take the party to his room with the computer and we all start running up the stairs and i was the last in line(his room is up the stairs and down 2 doors on the left.and this is a totally normal everyday dream) as we are going up the stairs i feel something grab my back pocket and i stop but everyone keeps going and enter his room. i turn and look but nothing is there so i try walking up the last 3 stairs but something still has a hold of my jeans, i look back again and then turn to get the shit out of there but as soon as i try to climb the stairs i feel a hand close around my neck and i cant breathe or scream for my friends, i start freaking out but i can't make any noise or move very far. there is a basket of small toys at the top of the stairs that i could reach and so i was trying to throw them at the door but they would make it half way stop in the air and then just drop to the ground. this whole time i am being choked and my eyes feel like popping out of my head, then i just felt my body start relaxing and my eyes rolled into the back of my head and i then woke up gasping my friends name.

sorry about the long reads. they are just so real feeling and vivid would be an understatement. but those are just dreams. but more and more recently i will be doing something and feel a tug on my shirt or a tap on my back and turn around and no one will be there, not even close. just this weekend i was skiing and went in for some water. i was talking to my friend while i was filling up my cup i took a step back and bumped into something and almost fell backwards. when i turned around to apologize for taking out a little kid i was shocked to see absolutely nothing, but i sure as hell felt something.

well i was ice climbing with my buddy last season. he was leading the second pitch after i had the first. it was pretty crappy ice too, plus it was a hard climb. anyway, he was comming into the hard overhanging bit so he placed a 12cm screw and proceed. it was hard enough that he didnt want to stop to place on the overhanging part so he ran it out like 30 feet, risky on ice. he was just at the point where it goes back to vert, so he stopped to place a screw. right as he places his left axe on his shoulder the pillar that his right axe and right foot was in breaks. he falls the good 65'+ to his last screw, then it rips out, he falls an additional 25' to his second. that rips out. at this point he has enough enertia buily up to rip out the belay anchor and me. but he decks before that happens. when he hits the ground. the ice axe that had been on his shoulder pierces his back and his right lung, and he sufferes a compound fracture to his right femur. with him laying on the ground in a growing pool of blood, im stuck about 120' up with no way to get down and help him. i grab my cell and call the local rescue team and gave them our location, knoowing full well that it owuld be at least 15 min before they can get to us. with the remaining 80 or so feet of rope, i lower down till im about 40 off, then i put in a screw and rig a cordelette to lower another about 30. lucky iit had just dumped out so there was 3+feet of fresh powder so i just jumped the remaining 8 or so feet after discarding my axes. by the time i got to him he is already slipping in and out of consiosnes. i quickly cover himw ith my jacket and assess the damage to his leg, knowing theres not much i can do for his chest wound. with the rate that blood was spewing i could tell that the femoral had ben ruptured. i run over to our packs for a clamp to stop the bleeding. as i look about in his wound in finally spot it. as soon as the clamp goes on, the bleeding subsides. then i hear a welcome sound. rotor blades. by far, the scariest tihng that has ever happened to me. but my buddy i am glad to say is fine now.well, relativley. still goes to PT for the leg

The paralizing thing, eveyone gets it. Idk what it is but its like when ur about to wake up. I get it sometimes, especially when i take naps during the day, my mom said she used to get it as a kid too. I dont  think its scary, its something to do with the body i think.  Its only scary when your like in that stage. I know how it feels, you cant move, i could not open my eyes, i couldnt breath, nose or mouth and when i tried to yell for my parents, no words come out. I could feel my mouth open but i couldnt talk/yell.  Its a really shitty feeling and its really like your dying, hahaahaha, buts its cool when u actually get out of it. lol

Okay wow, a breaker just went off in the house because i have a heater in my room and my mom was using a dryer. Our house heater is broken so its cold. Anyways, i just read like this whole thread and was shit scared with all the supernatural ghost stuff and i rememberd stuff ive seen on tv and shit. And my room just went black so i was Fuckin freaked. So i got up in hurry to go into the hall and ran into my heater and knocked it down. I hit this part above my knee hard it hurts like a bitch, i can feel it in my knee to when i try to stand up, my whole leg is in pain. THIS SUCKS

so yea my story takes place in a house that sounds pretty similar to that. well actually its these 3 houses next to each other that are boarded up and falling apart and weird as shit. so yea 2 of my buddies and i figured it was the perfect place to shoot a horror movie (were in college for film).

so after school (senior year of high school at the time), we decide we would walk around the buildings, go inside, check it out see if it would be good. We bring a crowbar and flashlight. so we break into the first 2, real creepy blah blah blah im not gonna go into real detail just cuz most of u prolly dont feel like reading. the worst part was we just kept getting this feeling someone else would be around every corner and that like we wernt alone or sumthin the usual creepy feeling.

we go up the the 3rd and final house. my friend takes one swing with the crowbar at the backdoor, and, what do ya know, a cop car rolls up! because we wernt really doing much wrong, we were just looking around to film a movie, we figured we wouldnt have much of a problem, so we didnt run or anything.

the cop gets out and yells drop your weapon! haha fuckin ridiculous we were like wuhhh?? (kinda forgot the crowbar was a weapon) he like runs over to us, shoves our faces against the hood of his car (like legit like u see in the movies lol it hurt), empties our pockets (just had phones and wallets i think he was lookin for weed) and sticks us in handcuffs, then puts us in the car. those handcuffs hurt bad with the 3 of us squished in the back seat.

we roll out to the main road, and the cop points to a car right outside the place and goes thats ur car right? and it wasnt im like uhhh no i parked down the road.... (just added to the creepyness of earlier cuz that meant somebody else was in ther!) so yea he called some other cop to tow my car ($100, fuckin bullshit).

he flipped on his sirens and bombed down to the station as if we were terrorists lol and on the way we asked what the hell we were getting charged for, since we still have no idea whats going on, and he goes trespassing and attempted burglary! wtf! how can you steal from an abandoned house?? hahaha anyway we get to the station and they lock us to the most uncomfortable bench ever in some interrogation room. we sit there for like 30 mins not knowing why or whats happening lol but then they come get us and bring us to some office, where they conveniently have yet another uncomfortable bench, which we of course are locked to. they finger print us, take the pictures, do the whole deal, meanwhile we keep tryin to tell these fuckers the story and how this is all bullshit and they wont listen to any of it! they tell us how attempted burglary is a misdemeanor and that we were gonna go to the county jail that night and it was a friday and u cant bail out on weekends or sumthin so we were gonna be ther all weekend....

then finally a stroke of luck. my school cop (yes, people in my town are fuckin crazy and demand that we have a school cop) walks in just to see whats goin down and he looks at us and goes what the hell are you kids doin here?? (he knows us from school and knows were good kids in like honors classes and stuff) so we tell him our story and he talks to the cop who arrested us and tries to get him to drop the charges. apparently once they book you, they cant drop, only change the charges, so they settle on something i dont even know what i think it was trespassing and some other little thing. so they let us out but we still had to go to court and shit

now here is the worst part on my opinion: each of us had to get a separate lawyer, 1,500 EACH. gayest shit ever. so we go to court and the judge gives us 6 months probation and 24 hrs community service, and then after the 6 months our record would be wiped clean. so that wasnt too bad, we got to do the community service together so it defly coulda been worse.

so yea thats my scary story haha we never went back to film but we did try making a horror movie its not that scary but its cool if anyone wants to watch:

Look up union cemetery, in Easton CT. Creepy, creepy place at night.

Last week me and some friends were checking out this supposedly haunted graveyard.  We parked our car on a long stretch of road between a bunch of trees where headstones were randomly placed between the trees.  It was pretty dark and we could barely see when the moon was covered by passing clouds. We were just sitting there waiting to see if anything would happen, when out of no where on the back door of the driver side it sounded like something was tapping its fingers really fast on the door.  We sat there for about 20 seconds just shocked, listening to the tapping. There was no mistaking it, it was the sound of someone or something tapping on the door bottom (everyone has drummed on their desk at school when their bored, it sounded like that).  Whatever it was, it was down towards the bottom of the door and we couldn't see it through the window, and were all too stunned to roll down the window.  After confirming it was none of us my friend freaked and decided to start the car, he accidentally put it in neutral and revved the engine really loud and the tapping stopped, and we booked it.  I convinced my friend to loop back around and check it out, there was nothing there and their was no way it could have been a tree.

Our high school is really old and kind of creepy. Always heard weird stories from the janitor about when he was alone at night. One day after basketball practice I stayed and worked on my shot, nobody else was in the building. Finally decided to leave, but I had to shut off the lights so I put my ball on my coat and had to go behind the stage to kill the lights. Right when I turned them off I heard a banging noise which scared me but its an old building with an old boiler didn’t think it too unusual. As I’m walking across the dark gym I hear something I can only describe as a muffled voice. When I get to my coat, my ball is gone, and then I hear it bounce against the wall fairly hard, on the other end of the gym. So now I’m freaked out and run back and turn on the lights, my ball is sitting in the corner about 100 feet from where I set it on my coat, even if it rolled off it wouldn’t have gone that far. So I run over to grab it, go back to shut the lights off. As i’m sprinting out of the gym I swear I hear someone say my name, but I didn’t stop until I got past the parking lot and halfway up the hill to my house.

bump in the night

i smoked in a graveyard once. once the bowl was empty my friend had to say that the person who always walks the slowest gets grabbed in the movies then i got super chilly and felt like something was rubbing my ankle. i ran to the car.

Here is a story that happened to me and my friends almost two years ago now.
I am in college and dorm. But most of the time I sleep over my girlfriends room. she lives in a 6 person suite that has 3 rooms with 2 people in each.
One of her suitemates has woken up on more than one occasion with the feeling that she was being pushed down on her chest. She ran into my girlfriends room twice when I was sleeping there completely pale (she is a tan phillipino) with a look of complete horror in her eyes. She told us that one time she was dreaming and all of the sudden there was a dark male shadowy figure that appeared and said "I am what you cannot see". In the dream she felt extremely threatened and uncomfortable. She woke up to the same feeling of someone pushing down on her chest to the point where she felt like she couldn't breath. She said that she tried to scream but all she could do was move her lips and nothing came out. Her roomate has slept through it everytime and it has never happened to her in her bed.
One night one of my best friends at the time didn't feel like driving home (he was a commuter), and the girl who this happened to was home for the weekend. He slept in her bed and woke up to the same feeling of someone pushing him down into the bed. He has never slept in the bed again.
This was their second year living there. This happened to the girl once the first year and then during the summer everything was renovatted. The semester after the renovation is when the most activity happened. I have heard somewhere that ghost activity can be higher when a haunted place is renovated because the ghosts get disturbed because of the change or something like that.

This is where the story gets even more personal to me. One night I was sleeping in the bed with my girlfriend and she wakes me up at like 4 in the morning. Btw its a full size bed with the wall on the right side. She was sleeping against the wall and I was on the outside. She looked extremely scared and distraught. She told me that she woke up to an uneasy feeling (she is a very light sleeper btw). She saw the dark figure of a man standing next to the bed. He then leaned over me and pushed her down right below her neck on her torso. She said she tried to scream but she couldn't and it was really hard for her to breath, almost to the point of feeling like she couldn't. She also said she started to feel really cold. Then it just stopped and thats when she woke me up.

I think the total number of times that this happened to my girlfriends suitemate was around 8 times. It hasn't happened for over a year now. Either way it is some messed up stuff. Freaks me out thinking about it now.
Good thing I am sleeping in my room tonight. Gonna do that now seeing as its 4:46am.

i'm just gonna say, if you're talking about the richard gere movie, that thing sucks, it was boring and not scary and pretty much most scary movies scare me, so that's saying something

I posted this in the hospital thread but I'll copy it here since this thread is a bit more relevant.

So I work at the local ski area, 7 years in the Rental shop and this year was on park crew, and have experienced my fair share of weird shit, and also heard a few stories, so I'll go ahead and tell them.

Story 1:

Our ski patrol sweeps the hill every night after close and makes sure there isn't anyone on the runs. As one of the patrollers is going down and checking one night, he hears a little girl behind him over his shoulder say either "Help me" or "Hello," I can't remember which. He radios and says he is going to check it out, and after over half an hour of looking, he finds nothing. Several patrollers and groomers have heard the same voice, and it's been heard on a couple different runs.

Story 2, similar to story 1:

This story involves a haunted snow gun. This gun won't stay locked down, will adjust itself, change its own settings etc. We make all of our snow, and have one of the best snowmaking systems in the world, and our maintenece guys double as our snowmakers on top of numerous other duties. One maintenence guy, we'll call him Joe, is known kind of as a whiner. One night he is walking down towards the haunted gun when he falls through a hole in the snow, breaking his ankle. He radios for help, but none of the other maintenence guys believe, they figure he is just being his usual self. So he's up there for 15 minutes, calling a few more times before someone goes up to check on him.

Now they also carry torches attached to propane tanks to unfreeze the fans on the guns. So the guy who goes up to help him just kind of sets it off to the side of the run, and takes him down on a snowmobile. When he comes back, the propane torch is set in the middle of the run, with the hose coiled up neatly around it. No one could have been up there to move it, as they were all down attending to Joe. I've personally talked to the guy who went up to help him and have every reason in the world to believe this story.

Story 3, my personal favorite:

We used to have a ball pit in our lodge for the kids of parents who wanted to drop their kids off and go off skiing without having to worry about them. Now, for some reason the extra balls for that ball pit were kept in this old stone house out on the lane coming into the area that was built sometime in the 1800s. One night the maintenence guys got bored and decided to go out and find the balls.

This house is pretty sketchy. The cellar is pretty short, and has a dirt floor, and is one of the scariest places I've seen. So they're out there messing around, and they all go down in the basement. As they're all down there, one of the balls from the pit comes rolling down the stairs, completely unexplained. They all got the hell out of there.


Our lodge in general is a pretty sketchy place. The lights go on and off without warning. I've worked all nighters resetting the park and if you look down at the lodge the lights will just randomly go on and off. Sometimes the toilets and sinks in the main mens bathroom will go off down the line for no reason.

There is also this road pretty close to the area that has some pretty messed up stuff on it. A circus train crashed back in the 50s or something and is still back there, countless cars and trucks. There is also the Double and Triple K ranch, which was and supposedly still is a base for the KKK. I'm not as familiar with those stories, though my former boss is and I've always meant to get them out of him.

sooo, one time in like 2003 me and my cousins were at marthas vineyard and we were staying in some friends house. the house is supposedly haunted and they sold the house in like 2006 to make it a musem about its history and hauntedness. so back to the story in 2003, there was like this attic room like the top floor of the house. in on this top floor there was like a door with a room behind it and a ladder that led to the roof, because in marthas vineyard they have widow walks things where you can walk around on the roof. so me and my cousins were up there and we like open the door to the room and like walk around and explore and shit. so we leave and close the door. we come back the next day and the door is locked... so we like ask all the parents if they locked it they said no. so we try and open the door and we cant get it so we leave. we go up on the widows walk and like walk around and then when we try t get down its locked and we cant get out so we have to call the house and tell him to come unlock the widows walk. so we had no idea how it locked. sooooo then when we come down from the widows walk the light in the room is on but the door is still locked so its freaking us out. so we leave come back the next day and its still locked. light off this time. later that day we come back and its open! so we walk in and find this weird ass human lenght doll that was agaisnt the wall earlier on the floor.. and that was it weirdest shit
