In general, what are the best liners for about 50% park 50% all-mountain, or basicly just an all-around liner.

like a jacket liner? i would say try some underarmor or a mock turtle neck or some other kind of athletic cold wear stuff that it similiar to underarmor. like nike

zipfits do indeed suck a bunch of cocks.

If you're gonna do liners, go with foam or the heat moldable ones made by Intuition or Conformable. it depends on what you're looking for, what you want out of it, blah blah blah....

If you end up with a foam liner, but find the foam tongue too rock fucking hard, there's a "normal" liner tonghe than can be ordered to fit.

yes, i mean boot liners.
but yeah.
i need flex, comfort, warmth, performance, etc.

if it matters the boots im considering are spks, rampages, and full tilts (i know i won't need liners if i get full tilts)

i would get rampages because i know they fit, but im stuck on the weight. i really dont want a heavy boot.

heavy boots dont matter. its not like they weigh 100 pounds. any snug fitting liner isn't going to be warm. i would worry about getting a good fitting liner and then figure out about warmth later.

its kind of strange that you would get a custom liner but not choose a shell based on your foot shape.


if you are planning on customizing an spk you need an expanding custom liner. the spk is most likely goingto be too wide for your foot so you need something to fill that space. an intuition liner does not expand, so i don't recommend that. conformable/surefoot, zipfit, those liners will expand and take up room. nethier are particularly warm, but i already discussed that. zipfit are quite cold actually and VERY heavy.

i presume you are talking custom liner otherwise theres not much point in switching

sorry man i missed this post. before you worry about liners i would figure out your boots first.

spks - really really wide
rampages - medium with a dash of narrow
full tilts - really really narrow

figure out what is going to fit your foot

if a foam injection liner is done right the tongue will not be hard (im talking surefoot/conformable foam)
