Getting the stink out of my sandals

i got a pair of reefs this summer and now they smell like feet odor (pretty strong smell). how can i get this out? ive tried leaving them in a pool hoping the chlorine would help, washed them with soap and water, showered with them on, but nothing seems to work. What can i do???

baking soda is good for getting the smell out of things

wear them in the shower for a few days or scrub them. I've done both and they work.

i did that and its mostly gone so im gonna do it once or twice more just to get it all out. thanks for the replies
