Yeah. Itll get me a dedicated park ski and a all mountain pow and shit ski. For way cheap. As cheap as a pair of seths. And who else will be rockin that shit? Besides newschoolers. What bindings are you putting on yours?
I really cant decide. Same with where to mount the MRs. The renos are going to be center mount
My Jibs will be suggested mount (1cm from centre). It's gives a much more responsive feel when turning, it turns better for some reason. And it still feels centre mounted.
MR's on the other hand, will likely be mounted a bit further back... maybe 2 back from center? I don't want it too far back, but it's not symetrical (125-93-120).
I'm not sure what bindings to pick up. Originally I was thinking on just gettin' some Jibs, which was one pair of bindings to worry about. Now I've got two. I was looking at some Salomon Z10's or S12's, but I don't wanna get two of them.
Do you think the Mr and the reno jib are too similar/like to much overlap in the quiver. I just really want to hear some reviews of the Bulehouses so i can figure out whether to go with the MR, or more of an allmountain ski.
I don't think I'll ever need 18DIN bindings... I'm getting Z10's for jibs and STH 12s for Rubys. I typically set my din at 7-ish (5'6, 125lbs, type III).
I've dropped the Rubys from my quiver... living in Vancouver I realized what I really needed was a pow ski
ya man they are both park skis. If you are going for a two ski quiver, I would change one of those to a real mountain ski.
I also want to hear some reviews of the MR but I don't think that its much of an all mountain ski. Sure its not symmetrical, but most park skis aren't.
As for mounting them back 2cm instead of one, you will find no difference until you are around 5cm back. That is how my PE's are mounted and they can definitly take the whole mountain.
Lastly, has anyone thought of mounting one Reno rocker or one Reno jib backwards if they centermount them?
to who ever said can u mount them backwards i asked the same question and i guess u can demension wise but im not sure about the flex pattern bieng symettrical like line skis i know for the rocker there is less in the tail then the nose of the ski.
