Hey i was thinking of getting bacons in the future and i was wondering how they are. Kinda compared to the seths, since that is what i am used to the most. And by the way i am well aware of the many bacon threads but i am almost positive that there aren't any comparing these two, thanks for the help.

I've only ridden bacons, but theyre much less of a conventional ski. they ride like snowboards, in the sense that they like to go slow in tight areas like trees, and still float. theyre not too solid goign faster. butter nice too. seths seem like a more conventional ski to go fast on and shit.

ive got the 169 seths cuz im a lighter skiier, but they've been a solid ski on everything and are sweet in pow.

Get the Seth's if you want to shred more crud/pow/variable terrain at higher speeds, get the bacons if you want to chill/jib the pow/trees/park a bit more. I would go w the Seth's personally, my friend delammed the shit out of his Bacons in like 2 wks.

to tell the truth i havent skied either but my friend got the bacons and they look like so much fun, get the bacons if you are in to switch pow and lots of fun but if you are in to shredin' the intense shit and goin real fast get the seths... personally i would get the bacons... they look like way tool much fun wherever you go. but they are completely different skis and it really depend on what you are in to.

seths (or you might want to consider scratch bc wrs) if this is your one ski quiver, bacons if you have another ski to go with it.

definitely not comparable. as much as they are used on the same type of terrain, the type of riding that each ski is ment for is to different to compare.

I'd go with the Seth's man. I have them, and I couldn't be happier. The shred in the park, cruise down groomers, and float in the pow. Great all around fat ski.

compared to the seth id say its a more playful ski in flex and width...depending which seths u have...id say they would be fun as long as your not trying to go super fast and strait lining stuff

yeah thanks, i just want to reemphasize that i have seths, i really enjoy them but i want something new, you know to switch it up a little bit, so i know what they ride like, and i know they are good, but i was wondering what it would be like going from riding the seths to the bacons
