its not even the all star break. even if we have a shitty season which we probably wont because our pitching is now healthy, we dont have to prove a god damn thing. yankees baseball is the greatest dynasty in all of sports. i bet half you people in this thread arent even from new england but you latch onto the sox because the media plays to them like theyre a rag tag team, an underdog. they play the same game the yankees do. they got the second highest payroll in baseball and it would be the same as the yankees if they could generate enough revenue. yankees sell 55000 tickets when they play the pitsburgh pirates, we can afford good players. Epstein does not have "better" morales than the cashman or steinbrenner. The yankees catch more heat for having a higher payroll because they have more world series rings than anyone else.

the yankees are not having a very good season. lets examine why. well, theyve started more pitchers than any other ML team. now why would they do a thing like that? oh yea injuries. in the first series against the red sox we started a kid who pitched in Double A last year! do you realize how desperte you have to be to be starting a pitcher against the sox who was in the minors last year? well when our rotation got healthy and the bullpen settled down took 2/3 from the red sox then went on a 9-0 tear against the national league.

and we all know you hate Arod but we also know you're jelous. you were just pissed you didnt get him because the move from texas to boston was not approved by the union a few years ago. ok so the yankees got him and say what you want but hes leading the league in HR's and RBI's, he had the go ahead HR in the 9th the last time they played the sox and hes batting like .396 in the 9th inning. DiceK is a $101M bust (his ERA is 4.18).

I hope you do win this year. and the next 9 years because you will still be 10 rings short of where the yankees are.

Are you for real? you have no idea what ur talking about, you say u lost so many pitchers from injuries, try name more than 3 legit pitchers that have gotten hurt, and have fun with a rod, cus i can almost garuntee he wont be on the yankees next year, he doesnt give 2 shits about ny, all he wants is money, yankee fans dnt even appreciate him like he should, i went a game in early may when he was on fucking fire, he struck once, and got boooed like no other. And ur saying the sox dont generate enough revenue??????? last time i checked the sox have broken the record for most consecutive sellouts, every game has been sold out since like 2002 u dumbass, just cus the sox dont have a big shithole like yankee stadium that can fit, and that is total bullshit that they sell 55000 tickets against the pirates.... not even remotely true
