So i have an interview tomorrow...its kind of an important one

and i need help in answering typical interview questions. Here's one that just always gets me, and im never really sure what the best answer is...because you kind of have to word it so that your biggest weakness is also a strength.
so, if you were in an interview and someone asked:
"what would you say your biggest weakness is, and what steps have you taken to correct the problem?"
what would you say?

if you take the overly competative route you can say to fix the problem you try to listen to others and realize that someone else might be best suited to do something and you don't have to be the center of attention

it depends on the place. if you are interviewing for some kind of bull retail minimum wage job i mean you can get away with hard working or whatever because they dont care. but if you get higher and higher they will see right through that and probably mark you down for just saying bs they KNOW isnt true. and i mean most of them probably have heard that one so many times before that its just a joke. say something that makes you stand out, not blend into the crowd.

wtf...man, so i show up at the crack of dawn, and they make me wait 40 minutes! so me and this other guy go in to interview at the same time, up against 5 leaders of the company. it was brutal. they weren't very nice at all. there was only one nice person. the rest were assholes. example:
i was asked what i didnt like in previous jobs
i said i didnt like it when jobs were too corporate, and suggestions by employees on lower levels werent taken seriously.
one of the guys was like "look over there! we have a suggestion bin...it gets cleaned out DAILY....by the cleaning lady!" and he wasn't even joking.
so yeah, whatever, i honestly cant tell if it went bad or not. but being drilled by 5 people kind of sucked. i wrote a follow up email. id like to be offered the position to at least keep my options open, but honestly, if i was offered it, i dont know if id take it.

If your just honest it will help. If you say some bullshit that every other guy is gonna say it doesnt matter. The interviewer likely has interviewed many people and has heard it all. Be truthful and say your doing your best to fix it.

the "I'm a perfectionist" or other variants of overachieving is the worst answer ever. May as well say "I read job sites all the time to find good answers to interview questions and this is the best I could come up with.. and I'm extremely unoriginal because you've heard this answer 20 times today.. so, there"
