I have skied with them and I didn't have any lifter problems, I don't know that the "shock absorber" does a whole lot but it's better than hard plastic
^They are the same as any other binding, they're just named the jib bindings or whatever.
I personally don't like any added lift. I feel that it adversely affects ski feel, putting the rider further from the snow. But if the bindings came with risers, you need to get different screws to mount them without those risers.
I honestly just adjust to any small riser on my bindings, to the point where it's barely noticeable. 5-10mm isn't a big deal, certainly not worth filing down screws for.
Its actually like 2 to 3 mm, so I dont think I'll feel them that much, and since I rode fujatives with lifters for the past three years I'll probably feel spectacular at rails.
