Makin ringtones

anyone know how to make a ringtone now that they've cracked down on those sites that used to be super easy??? i've tried using google and trying some of what people said in random forums but failed every time... getting really frustrating. so if anyone has a way that still works share the wealth! thanks

i just record mine off my computer speakers with my phone then pix message the sound to myself and set it as my tone, it works with most phones.

all you need is a wav editor (to cut the part of the song you want) then email it to your phone. example is: 999-999-9999@vzwpix.com with no subject or body. just the attachment.. keep the file size to below 200kbs and the song length to under 20sec to be safe..

I make mine on Garageband. I can edit it however, where ever I want then I send it to iTUnes, convert it to mp3, then send to my phone via bluetooth.
