December. Got up early and caught the first chair on Friday after it dumped all week. Hiked from the notch at Tye Mill up the ridge to the Tye summit of Cowboy Mountain. I followed a patrollers steps for a while, but then they tuned off, so I continued up to the top. Up top it was frosty, total bluebird. Best pic I can find that looked like it:

(I think that was actually taken at Stevens Pass too)
Anyways, stomped out a pad at the top, took a breather and then stepped in. There is a tiny mini-bowl (like 60 feet across, really just a rock bowl) at the top that has a 30 foot cornice drop to it. The drop looked sketch, but I spotted a pillow drop right under it to one side... they totally collapsed when I landed on them, but I got three turns in the small bowl and then blasted out onto 1000 feet of pristine powder. No tracks until I hit someones traverse halfway down. I was airing off anything I could spot, sooooo deep and luscious.
And the other time was the night skiing adventure my friend and I had. We got in a car accident and it took us 5 hours to get home, but the snow was absolutely redic. Our tracks were getting covered with 2 inches every run and it just didnt stop the entire night. And we were like the only people up there too... that was mad fun.
